I played it at Gamestop for about 25 minutes and got completely turned off by the fact my hands couldn't rest anywhere.

On a conventional controller you could rest your arms on your knees while in a sitting position, but standing up with a Wii-mote you have to always have your arms pointing out and that can have a negative impact on me.

When I get my Wii I will be using it for my friends and sisters, for multiplayer action only. My sisters can do what they want with it for all I care.

Just for me I like the conventional controller better (X360, PS3).
Your hands don't have to be up in the air.  I just rest one hand on each leg.  It's great being able to actually separate your hands when you play.

You can rest your arms on your knees with the Wiimote and nunchuck too, I do it all the time. I usually played Galaxy while laying back on my couch actually.

But no, Galaxy never gave me any wrist problems. The camera never really gave me any problems either. I'm sure it did at certain points, as just about any game with a camera will. Kind of like Ninja Gaiden on the X Box....people were complaining about the camera, yet it never bothered me.

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

Never had that problem playing it, but my wrist did hurt after a while playing GH3, I think I hold the guitar wrong or something.

Nintendo still doomed?

Wow I've never had that problem. The only levels so far that I've had to do a lot of shaking are the water levels.

I must say I agree with your complaint on the camera, that and the swimming are the only things to really have annoyed me in the game so far though.

so when you sit down, you can't play the wii??

and, you can't rest your arms on your knees while having the wii mote controller in your hand?

I see, Ignorance is a bliss.

You can sit down, but it's a lot harder to do lots of movement with your arms how we play.

I play with ecurbj all the time over his house and whatnot, and we sit hunched forwared, resting our elbows on our knees, and I've played a little bit of Zelda on the Wii, and sitting how we sit when we play Halo is just not possible.  And I don't think I could play SMG sitting down either, but that's just my $0.02

And Neos, don't call ecurbj ignorant, he's anything but.

There's a ton of shaking in the game if you decide that the lack of camera control is annoying enough to convince you to start spinning at all the enemies instead of hopping on them.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

Maybe you just don't know how to change the camera correctly yet.

Nice so I'm ignorant for saying my opinion with Super Mario Galaxy at Gamestop.

You truly are ignorant to even reply and could of been more mature like the other posters and found a solution rather than bash me because I said what I said.

You my friend, are someone to be wrecked with.
