Forums - Nintendo - Kotaku Gives New York Times VGChartz Story Creedence

Even Nintendo-haters should be upset over this. It's simply stupid to print lies in a news article. You're supposed to be informing with commentary, not promoting an agenda.

The NYT prints lies all of the time.  If you mean Kotaku, well, I guess some folks their are biased against the Wii.  You will find a similar bias at CNET.

Bias is fine. I expect that. It's the faux ignorance used to further an anti-Wii agenda from a news site that I have a problem with.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Yup SSBB is a flop

In its first month, Brawl has already outsold the entire lifetime sales of the original Nintendo 64 game and reached 70% of the lifetime sales of the GameCube iteration. Interestingly, NPD data reveals that the Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube actually sold around 10,000 copies during March 2008.

Did you adjust for Wii Sports, just in case? Well it sold 260k last week, and 360k the week before. That still puts it just behind the DS two weeks ago, and still well in the lead last week.

Why he need to adjust Wii sports, then he need to adjust PS3 and Xbox360 numbers because a lot of consoles come with 1 or 2 games.

I wrote "just in case", as in leaving less of an excuse to claim the software numbers were "inflated".

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
