Forums - Gaming - The big 3 are not exactly your friend (Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo)

Corporations are never your friend. They are out for no.1 and that is your money. No need for emotional attachment.. if a company is doing what you don't agree with on their existing products, you can just not give them your money and take your services elsewhere. As platform holders have a steady stream of revenue, the likely they'll want to grow. And they think of more ways to extract that money from you. Where it be rising costs (in general) that is usually passed onto us consumers (or gamers), more subscriptions on top of more intrusive micro-transactions in full paid, or 'live' games and ads.

I've said this for generations PC is a great alternative. Now more than ever. A large open space with several ecosystems that are way more consumer friendly. Ability to play games to your specifications, cheaper overall game prices, not to mention ways to play your legacy games via emulation, free online etc that you don't have to deal with the shackles of walled gardens. But consoles do have their perks like usability and is cheaper upfront.. Tbh I've grown more weary of consoles lately and all the bullshittery that comes with them.

The only reason why I buy them now is because i don't have to wait years for them to come on a platform I own.

Sounds like you are blaming your spending habits on corporations... I don't even spend 1% of my income on gaming, buy less games. I never understood why so many gamers buy games they will never really play. I don't have a backlog personally. I buy a game and do not buy another till I finish it.

The part or spending your money to get a woman is creepy

Dude, people aren't things that can be bought on market

"We had no money, I SPENT 200K on BULLSHIT AND LET MY FAMILY SUFFER" also where the fuck do you get 200K when poor? Also creeping on people? Seriously WTF.

WTF is this thread?

I wish I could say it was not me but my addiction is mostly a rare bipolar thing. also not all bipolar do what I do but few drink alot of coffee. We like to be the man. the center of attention. trust me I also have another mental disease so Icaro needs to understand I don't communicate like a normal person alot of my mental thinking is blocked. If I was born normal he'd understand. talk to me when he studies bipolarism and the other embarassing mental disease that keeps me from socializing. Yes im disabled but but IDC anymore I can't move as the same pace as everyone in life treat  I'm not like icaro I was robbed since birth looking at certain member who thinks Im normal in the mind if he only knew It's like high volume of alternative to embarassed to say keeping me from understanding no its not autism leave my birth out of this. I gotta smoke drugs  I like Chrkeller I think why you're loved in these forums and others is because you can spy disabled . Your IQ is very high.

Fair enough, can't say I know much about any of that.

Corperations in the gaming industry are not friends but they do (sometimes) give us good games that make us feel good when we play them
...
So are they enemies with benifits at that point?

No shit.

(Btw, you're definitely oversharing.)
