Hi all,

Does anyone have any Xbox Live subscriber numbers by country?

I think the latest press release said that there were 10m subscribers worldwide, but does anyone know how this breaks down by country (in particular, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy). Any help would be much appreciated!

Live Userbase = (Country) / 0.1747

Console Userbase = (Country) / 0.62

Therefore, the list doesn't take into consideration non-Live countries, and assumes broadband penetration rates (needed for XBL) are the same from country to country.

Does live userbase Live Userbase include gold only memberships? I remember microsoft saying they have over 10 million gold subscribers 4 months ago...

why cant they give gold-live subscribers
i subscribe to live but only silver membership. i think its a bit of spin if you ask me

No. The list is both gold and silver users that I used. I highly doubt MS has 10m gold members.

I have 4 accounts, 1 US, 1 Canadian, 1 Japanese and my UK gold. How many others have multiple accounts and how much does this distort the figures?

Yes, the 360 has done fairly well in SK. I tend to think it's still beating the PS3 out there.

 Yea I've thought that too, lol. It's like they're saying that silver owners are lucky they're not being charged for their service or something.
