Forums - Politics Discussion - Russia and Ukraine flashpoint

Dude, all Ryuu seems to be saying is to wait for the facts and act only then... You don't have to act now when you don't have knowledge, you can wait to act until you do know. You can disagree based on the facts for sure, but at least you'll be disagreeing about what's real instead of potentially imaginary.

So, which religious group has commited the most harmful acts of terrorism in America?  My point is to try to aggregate these acts of terrorism and total everything up.  You won't be able to do that practically because of varying definitions of terrorism as they say one man's trash is another's treasure.  Luckily, however for the purpose of making a point, one group seems to have committed much more political body counts than all the rest.  Which would this be?  Do you not want to mention?   Keep in mind, that i'm an American, and I view politics from a local perspective.

Christians who are most commonly white people.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

He was saying that i was being wrong, with his appeal to a reasonable attitude when he said that he hoped i was being sarcastic. And i was politely reminding Ryuu that you will know a person or even a group, by its actions.

In either case, this discussion is veering away from Ukraine and the ongoing problems that it is facing, so I think that me and Ryu should probably steer back towards that.

I don't know what you aren't getting about me saying it's not sensible to presume anything until we know the facts. The murderer in the UK wasn't an immigrant, the murderer in Germany wasn't Muslim, the shooter in America wasn't Trans but Elon Musk's Twitter pushes all of these conspiracy theories to make these groups of people "the enemy" without having a single fact to begin with. I don't know about America but the biggest cause of deaths in Europe is probably the Nazis, the same Nazis that dozens of Neo-Nazi groups are trying to bring back. The same Nazis that the school shooter in America praised, the same Neo-Nazi group that the German killer supported.

I don't think you're understanding my point at all. Do you believe it's smart or sensible to presume something before we even have a single fact? That is my point, it is not smart or sensible to presume something before first having the facts, something which Elon Musk and his band of Twitter idiots continue to do to inflame tensions across the globe.

  • They presumed the murderer in the UK was an immigrant, it led to riots, they were wrong.
  • They presumed the school shooter in America was trans, they were wrong.
  • They blamed Scholz for the murderer in Germany, despite him being an AfD/Musk supporter.

We don't presume just because someone isn't white that they are Muslim. We don't presume that just because some woman looks a bit masculine she is trans or that every female shooter is trans because all trans people are psychopaths (According to Republicans). We don't presume that any non-white person is an illegal immigrant. These presumptions are stupid and dangerous and often lead to violence. We also don't presume that all Muslims are violent murderers or all trans people are violent murders or all immigrants are violent murderers.

Disinformation is wrong, it's dangerous and it is being spread often by Musk's Twitter.
