seems like they will soon take the area between Homs and Damascus so that they don't even have to take Homs to cut Damascus from every route

20 km airline from the last position the rebels took over in the south to the Presidential Palace in Damascus.
If you have a friend like Putin you don't need any foes. Just look at how Russia did absolutely nothing to help Assad. Same with all his other allies. This should be also a sign to the West that all these leaders don't give a fuck to help each other if it's getting too hot. But we will still shit our pants to help Ukraine

Yet Georgia, Moldova,Hungary, Slovakia and apparently the Romanian people would be happy to be Russia's friend. Bedsides once Trump is in office there is no guarantee he would help Europe if they would get invaded.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Jesus Christ! The map changes a lot by the day now.
Looks like Damascus is going to be cut off today and the siege will begin shortly, once the siege begins it will show just how loyal Assad's army is.

Russia did lob a few missiles here and there but it wasn't anywhere near enough because they simply don't have the strength now, I hope the rebels will remember how Russia committed atrocities on Syria for the past 10 years and even now when Assad is falling are still lobbing missiles at them. Iran soon fucked off, Lmao. Iran is in no position to do anything with Hezbollah decimated. I wonder if the rebels attack Russian bases will Russia threaten to nuke them or will they know that the rebels won't piss their pants at empty threats like the West does?

Pro-EU leader won in Moldova although I get it because it was by margins too close but then Russia was caught spending millions bribing voters in Moldova. Likewise Romania was just hit by massive election interference by Russia, hence why their elections have been reset, the pro-Russian shocked everyone, he was at no debates, no TV time, he's an absolute lunatic (and I'm not just saying this because he's pro-Russian but because he has actual lunatic thoughts against scientific facts) and he went from single digits to double digits thanks to a massive bot campaign on TikTok, I'm not even sure if most Romanians know his actual psychotic stances but saw a few cool soundbites on TikTok.
Hungary...Yeah. Slovakia...That was more about anti-immigration rhetoric, before Fico came into power Slovakia sent a huge amount to Ukraine and they still do send stuff to Ukraine but Fico is a petty asshole who has never got over his grudge from feeling insulted by Ukraine years ago. Georgians are currently rioting and the President says election interference but we'll see, I mean, Ukraine had a pro-Russian stooge once, the Ukrainians eventually kicked his ass out by force.
Hot take, Europe doesn't need America's help if Russia invaded us (but obviously they should, that's what allies do), Poland alone is a huge force. The issue is that Europe is unable to both prepare themselves for Russia and prepare Ukraine for Russia so they'll instead focus on making sure they have the equipment to beat Russia rather than just sending Ukraine the equipment to beat Russia, it's a stupid and selfish stance. If Europe sent Ukraine everything they had, Russia would be finished but Europe would be defenceless against...the now defeated Russia.

Damascus
Russia/Syria are bombing around Homs but seems they forgot to bomb around Damascus.

Yeah I doubt he would get any help from Hezbollah either. Their base wasn't happy the last time they played lap dog for Iran to help Assad. And now they are licking their wounds they'll be even more reluctant to 'lend a hand'.
Assad's rule is coming to an end, and nobody will shed any tears.
I hope all these factions can rally long enough behind a common enemy to work together to create a better country with freedom for all. But it could also split up or remain divided. After all Syria is just a French creation, arbitrary borders on a map. (Sykes-Picot Agreement)
