13 Honest Facts About the War in Ukraine - Valerii Zaluzhnyi

8. This fact of reality already applies to all of us in this room. It already concerns each of you. Please tell me, is it a secret today that China, North Korea, and Iran are united around Russia? Does anyone think that they are united against Ukraine? If so, let me be the first to doubt it. Most of these countries do not even know where Ukraine is. And if you look closely at an organization like the BRICS, and especially at its prospects, it will expand. And what about the collective West? Is it still afraid of escalation?

13 честных фактов о войне в Украине | Украинская правда

Does America think that North Korea will be fighting alongside Russia just for fun? Do they think North Korea even fucking knows who Ukraine are? No, the only reason North Korea is joining this fight is because they see Ukraine as America and they want to destroy all things America. They will fight in Ukraine becauswe they hate America, not because they hate Ukrainians, they don't have a fucking clue about Ukrainians but all they see is "America backing them" and that's enough for them to join up with Russia, plus whatever Russia gives in them in exchange, which will be used to threaten South Korea. If North Korea's reason for getting involved is their hatred of America then this is very much America's battle too.

Oh hey, look! Kim's dumbass sister proved Zaluzhnyi correct.

Escalation management led to this, for fuck sake, it didn't work with Hitler, it didn't work with Putin, we should have put Russia down like the rabid dog it is in swift decisive measures, by giving Ukraine everything they needed from the start without any stupid restrictions, now escalation management has emboldened insane cunts like Kim Jong Un. If we put Russia down from the start it would have sent a clear message to North Korea and Iran but now they're feeling confident because Russia has been allowed to get away with whatever it wants.

South Korea has vowed to take "phased measures" in response to North Korea sending troops to Russia as part of growing military cooperation. During a National Security Council meeting, South Korea urged North Korea to immediately withdraw its 12,000 deployed troops and warned that this collaboration violates UN resolutions. If North Korea and Russia continue their military ties, South Korea, in collaboration with international allies, is prepared to take further action, potentially sending weapons for defense and attack, a senior presidential official told reporters.

"Russia may "pay" North Korea for its military participation in the war against Ukraine with nuclear weapons technology, said South Korea’s representative to the UN." - Joonkook Hwang. "For deploying its units, North Korea will expect generous compensation from Moscow, which could include financial, military aid, or even nuclear weapons technology." - Hwang stated.

North Korea has been making some unusual moves recently, and China's reaction is quite intriguing.

When it comes to North Korea sending troops to Ukraine, Chinese media do not support it. I saw a report on one of China’s major news site http://163.com that mentioned 18 of the North Korean soldiers recently sent to Ukraine have already fled. The article also argues that the fact that Russia is now using North Korean weapons suggests that its arms industry has taken a serious hit, and relying on North Korean soldiers highlights Russia's severe manpower shortage.

While this is widely known, hearing it from Chinese sources is still somewhat surprising.

It's obvious that China does not want North Korea to send troops to Ukraine. I believe Xi Jinping's calculation is that North Korea’s involvement won’t change the course of the war but will instead increase pressure from the West. Putin and Kim Jong-un are in a position where they have nothing to lose, but Xi Jinping is far from that point. He still wants to sell electric cars to Europe, and there are plenty of Chinese companies desperately looking to expand overseas.

Frankly, Xi Jinping does not want China to be labeled as part of a new "Axis of Evil" (China, Russia, North Korea, Iran). However, if he senses that conflict on the Korean Peninsula is imminent or that the Russia-Ukraine war is spiraling out of control, he may adjust his timeline for taking action on Taiwan.

He wouldn’t want to move on Taiwan after those situations have escalated, as by then he might be forced to send troops to the Korean Peninsula or deal with the psychological and political-military pressures resulting from Putin’s failure, which will make the move on Taiwan more difficult. Therefore, he may act on Taiwan before these crises unfold. This is a possible development worth keeping an eye on.

Right, i also can't see why China would support Russia when they don't need anything at this point except for discounted russian oil.

Given a DT presidency win and an invasion of taiwan, do you think that DT would do anything to stop that?  Or would he be passive as his position on ukraine indicates?

I think China supported it at the start, when they thought it would be over in 2 weeks, Lol.

I reckon it's more likely that China is quietly frustrated by everything at this stage though, how long it has taken Russia, how things are escalating, etc. China is led by equally horrible people but China is a lot smarter than Russia, its country is far more financially locked in with America/Europe and China needs the West as much as the West needs China. Plus China's military is not yet ready to make an attempt on Taiwan but all these events happening are risking all of this for China, I don't believe that want to take Taiwan (yet) or they want their economy to blow up but events may "force" that earlier than China would like, I doubt China is okay with North Korea fucking around when it's angering South Korea this much.

China of course, could always pull their finger out their ass if they really don't want this, they could sort out their problem child in North Korea fairly easily and they could tell Russia to stop and China joining in on the sanctions would fucking destroy Russia but China is also still blinded by their hatred of the West too so it feels like they're stuck between "I hate the West so I must support Russia" and "I like money"

Donald Trump is a coward isolationist, he abandoned America's Kurdish allies, he said Russia can do whatever the hell it wants to America's European allies, he told Orban he would abandon Ukraine, he publicly demanded that Taiwan "should pay the US for its defence as ‘it doesn’t give us anything’" despite Taiwan spending billions already on American equipment.

I wouldn't trust Donald Trump to defend his own family if he didn't get anything financial out of it, let alone an entirely different country.

Lithuania's Foreign Minister Gabrielus Landsbergis has suggested sending EU troops to Ukraine in light of North Korean soldiers joining Russian forces. He emphasized the need to revisit French President Macron's earlier proposal for troop deployment, which had been dismissed by Germany. Landsbergis expressed frustration over Europe's passive response and urged for proactive steps to implement necessary actions against the increasing military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.

I am deeply grateful to the United Kingdom for providing Ukraine with an additional $3 billion in financial assistance to support our military needs, which will be repaid using profits from immobilized Russian assets.

This important step makes the UK the first G7 country to contribute to the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration mechanism.

Once again, the UK demonstrates its leadership and stands out as a true friend and partner to Ukraine.

A pro-Russia Telegram account has posted a photo showing the Russian and North Korean flags side by side on a Ukrainian battlefield, indicating that North Korea has likely sent troops to support Russia in its prolonged war with Ukraine.
