Forums - Politics Discussion - Russia and Ukraine flashpoint

I'm sure that Biden is also at least a little bit like "well, it's just Ukraine and nothing important, I won't risk anything for such a country". Obviously not as bad as Trump who probably even likes Putin for some stuff but if Russia would attack a country like UK, Germany or France (even if they wouldn't be in NATO)? Putin would be maybe dead already.

But in the end, for many on this planet it's "just" Ukraine which suffers. Many couldn't even tell where Ukraine is before the war.

Hope Keir doesn't chicken out without America's support.

His new name for going ahead with it will be Keir Stormer.

Legit this is so fucked up that it made me laugh.

I seriously wish Biden could explain to me what the difference is between Storm Shadow and ATACMS.

They both have roughly the same range, ATACMS may be better for wide range attacks due to cluster variant but Storm Shadow can still do significant damage to AA, Buildings and Individual Planes.

I mean all this looks like is USA throwing UK under the bus?! I'm not afraid, I would let Ukraine fire all of UK's Storm Shadows on Russian soil if I was in charge, I would give Ukraine the 500km variant, shit I would even give Ukraine first access to SCALP but Christ Biden is basically saying "We're too scared in case Russia attacks us but go ahead UK" Lmfao.

Well...At least we have France by our side as well, I keep forgetting about SCALP.

I'm at the stage though that I'm just like "Oh fucking whatever. Just give us permission only then"

My only fear is how low is the Storm Shadow stockpile at this point and if Russia has gotten better at intercepting it =/

He could help, otherwise more people will die and much more $$$ will be wasted in buying stuff that will only be blown up.  C'mon biden,  let them have the knockout punch and end this.

He'll probably watch and be like "oh okay, UK didn't get nuked" and THEN lift the restriction on ATACMS, Lol.

Telegraph sources now as well, The Times was first, these are both British papers though.

How nice of Biden to allow Ukraine to use weapons which aren't even American. And politicians in some countries wonder why the population often says we are all just USA's puppets who just do what USA wants...that's btw also sadly one reason why the "pro" Putin Left and the Right AfD is so strong in Germany right now because that's pretty much one of their points, that we will get more independent from USA with them instead of the parties ruling right now who are just USA's long arm (not only because of the war)

Yeah, this pisses me off how Biden is playing right into those peoples arms and giving them ammo for arguments.

But they are also hypocrites too because they want to force Ukraine into a surrender and then take away Ukraine's independence to make the choice of what alliances it joins in the future. It's bad for America to tell other countries what they can and can't do but it's also fine if we tell Ukraine what it can and can't do is the logic of these far-left/far-right.

Though Germany ain't even sent Taurus despite America sending ATACMS so I'm not sure how much it can be send that America controls Germany, Lol. UK on the other hand? We looking like America's fucking dog but what's new? Lmao. Also this current situation directly flies against the argument that America is trying to antagonise Russia, they're desperately trying to do anything but antagonise Russia, Lol.

Though I stand by that UK didn't need to listen to America so I put the blame on ourselves as well.

This is the PDA which is different from the passed aid package earlier in the year for those unaware.

What is stopping Biden from just doing a $5.8bn aid package to Ukraine before it expires? Just send a bunch of shit in one massive package if it's about to expire and hey, it would be a change from the drip-feeding! If Ukraine isn't ready to take all that equipment at once then park it in fucking Poland and have them feed it to Ukraine over time.

Or send the $5.8bn to Poland in agreement that Poland will then send $5.8bn in equivalent military stock to Ukraine.
