Send prisoners out in massive assaults to die in waves....... ok russia. This is why you are so poor and backward

America's support may have arrived but I was quickly slapped in the face with the West's weakness and slowness once again.

China, Iran, North Korea and Russia are loving this. What's the point in China holding back at this rate? Not like the West will do anything.

All I can say is, Poland and the Baltic States, you guys better acquire your own nukes, don't rely on the West for anything.

The US secretary of defence, Lloyd Austin, has confirmed Russian security forces have been deployed to the same airbase as American troops in the Nigerien capital, Niamey.

It remains unclear when the Russian troops, who have been in Niger for weeks, were deployed to Airbase 101, which is next to Diori Hamani international airport in Niamey. It is also unclear how many troops are on the ground.

“Airbase 101 where our forces [are], is a Nigerien air force base that is co-located with an international airport in the capital city. The Russians are in a separate compound and don’t have access to US forces or access to our equipment,” Austin said at a press conference in Honolulu.

Sounds like another excuse which will last about a year until Russia makes more progress and America finally says "actually, it's fine" Lol. I'm not saying they aren't vulnerable to jamming but if that is the case then you should be upgrading them otherwise they're just useless scrap-metal, the West is slacking on anti-jamming technology.

I hate to say it but I do believe this, the West fears Russia being defeated more than anything else, so they're opting for an extremely slow bleed-out of Russian forces in the hope that Putin will magically wake up one day and be like "actually, this war is a bad idea, the West is right" and suddenly stop, despite the fact that Russia's entire economy has turned into war-mode and it'll be hard to change back now, Russia has positioned themselves to be in this for the next 5-10 years and when the country is in war-mode for that long, Ukraine won't be the only country invaded if they succeed, all Russia will know eventually is war and Putin is happy to send millions to their deaths to remain in power and Russians will never overthrow Putin.

Meanwhile Russia will manipulate and influence Western elections in the future when this war is still going on in 5 years from now, Ukraine support will be more attacked by Western politicians because it will be an easy target for far-right politicians, more pro-Russian politicians will get into power and decrease support for Ukraine, NATO will be fractured but the West can only think 1 day ahead and not years ahead of the consequences that this slow approach will cause because they're terrified that if Putin is defeated too quickly he will lob a nuke at us or something.

Yer this is bizarre. We have this drone but it sucks and is useless, so let's not use it, instead of let's fix it's vulnerabilities an make it useful.

It also makes me wonder, if they don't have an urgency to fix the vulnerabilities, then what new tech do they have that replaces the MQ-9 we don't know about lol

It's crazy cause "jamming" isn't the only excuse they use, they say it could be shot down, Lol.

Which any country could do so you're basically saying it's utterly useless and can't be sent to anyone? Jamming is one thing, you need to actually be good at that but the vast majority of countries have guns and AD to shoot down drones, Lol. You just admitted your drone is utterly useless.
