Forums - Politics - Russia and Ukraine flashpoint

Never mind me, I'm just posting this to get this back in my VGC Buddy after not posting here in a while.

To say something on the topic as well, I guess I could say that the current situation is kind of interesting but also kind of boring. The situation on the battlefield seems fairly stable, but there's something going on with the peace negotiations. It looks like typical theatre to me in that everyone's playing but it's not likely to yield any actual results because Russia doesn't seem like it could care less about ending the war in any way that doesn't end in Ukraine practically losing its sovereignty, but who knows.

Russia's defense industry is unable to meet its Tu series defense contracts and the Tupalov company has been sued/fined by mother Russia for several billion rubles for failure to meet its contracts.

Strategic bombers have tge highest threshold of quality bc they have the best pilots and Russia doesn't want a nuke being dropped accidentally onto a Russian city if the plane failed in say a training run. I realize that the atomic bombs have to be armed, but they can still leak radiation if the drop and hit the ground hard. So, these drone attacks and sanctions of critical parts that these bumfvck Russians can't make for themselves are killing the industry for strategic bombers.
