Will he? A decent chunk of men (on both sides it seems) appear to be foreign recruits. Putin can sacrifice as many foreigners as he likes, its inly really if there are mass casualties for the core of Russia (ie Moscow, St Petersburg etc) that he would really have a problem and thats why he’s avoid a mass mobilisation of people from those areas.

At some point the Russian army ( in Ukraine at least) is going to fall apart and it will take less effort by Ukraine to keep inflicting damage on the Russians.
