Never mind me, just bumping this thread up higher in my VGChartz Buddy since it's fallen so low there.

For a tiny bit of relevant substance though, I've got to say that combat operations seem pretty stalled largely, whereas aerial threat is growing for both sides. I guess this is what happens when you can't field land forces like you'd want to, land drones are not a practical solution yet, and aerial threat is fairly inexpensive to manufacture but expensive to counter.

The drones are actually not just used for frontline combat, but also to counter the ennemies logistics. This is currently slowing down all operations on both sides because it doesn't matter who has more shells if those can't reach the frontline on time.

The limited supply conditions also can make encirclements very devastating. The Ukrainian counteroffensive a couple weeks ago showcased this also pretty well.

it seems reminiscent to the attrition warfare of ww1.  I think that in the future, various military powers will want to have an overwhelming supply of drones and missles to send against their opponents in the early part of the conflict, otherwise the conflict could become similar to what we see now with the ukrainian/russian war.
