"There is no Article 5. I got a call from Romania asking not to mention 'Shaheds' falling there. They said, 'Why did you turn on the EW, now drones are headed our way?' I told them, shoot them down, you have 40 F-16s."

No sh*t Sherlock. Trump: Russia may be stalling on a Ukraine ceasefire.

“I think Russia wants to end this, but maybe they're dragging it out. You know, I did that in business for years,” said the U.S. President.

Trump’s team takes another step in parroting Russian narratives.

🇺🇸 Trump’s special representative Richard Grenell falsely claimed that Ukraine never owned nuclear weapons, stating they “belonged to Russia” and were merely “returned” under the Budapest Memorandum.

❗️🇺🇸 Trump: We will consider Russia's requests for sanctions relief—a move that only benefits the aggressor. He also stated that Ukraine and Russia have agreed on a Black Sea ceasefire with third-party monitoring and claimed that "significant progress" has been made toward ending the war in Ukraine.

No 24 hours, no 3 days, no 100 days.

The US -thus Trump- no longer promises to end the war in 100 days—it will take “as long as needed”, says Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

It will take "as long as Ukraine will bow down to us and we can make a profit from this war"

The new US draft deal on Ukraine's natural resources marks a stunning escalation of the Trump admin’s push to seize control as a price for ceasefire mediation. Officials in Kyiv call the demands "disgusting", warning they would turn Ukraine into a US vassal state

There’s a new draft of the U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal.

It’s a sharp break from the version agreed on the day talks collapsed in the Oval Office.

And it stuns with what Washington demands.

Zelensky didn’t comment, except saying nuclear plants are out of the deal.

MP Zhelezniak claims the conditions are:

1. A joint U.S.-Ukraine investment fund Co-managed, but not equally. Five board members—three U.S., two Ukrainian. No decision without U.S. approval.

1/

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

2. Who pays what

The U.S. says it’s already paid in—$100 billion since 2022. Ukraine must contribute future royalties and profits from gas, oil, minerals, and more. The agreement is open-ended.

Only the U.S. can walk away.
2/

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

3. Who gets paid first

The U.S. gets its full “contribution” back—plus 4% annual interest. Ukraine sees no profit until that’s done.

The U.S. can pull money out freely. Ukraine cannot.
3/

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

4. What Ukraine gives up

All resource revenues, public and private, across all territory—even occupied. Private firms like DTEK are not exempt.

Funds are to be converted into hard currency and wired abroad to an account controlled by the U.S.
4/

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

5. Who gets the minerals

The U.S. gets first rights to buy what’s extracted—state or private.
5/

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

6. Who builds what

All new infrastructure projects in Ukraine must be offered to the fund first. Only if the fund declines can other investors be considered.

Even private-sector initiatives may be bound by this, though the language is unclear.

— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@mylovanov.bsky.social) 27 March 2025 at 14:20

7. What’s missing No security guarantees. No defense clause. Just resource control.

Zhelezniak says this isn’t a partnership. It’s full leverage and financial control of Ukraine.

That's not a deal. That's not even just leverage. That's full on extortion, with a side of economic occupation of a foreign country. Ukraine would be totally unable to do anything until that "debt" is paid off. Even during the height of imperialism the treaties weren't THAT unequal and one-sided.

Yeah that's Netanyahu/Putin's strategy adopted by Trump. Make ceasefire offers that are impossible to accept to the victims, just so you can keep on taking more territory while virtue signalling and blaming Zelenskyy for the failure to reach a ceasefire agreement.

Give us everything for no security guarantees is basically it.

Putin is trying to make sure Ukraine can't defend itself anymore in the future and Trump just goes along seeing dollar signs everywhere. Putin (and Netanyahu) are playing Trump like a fiddle. Big fascist wannabe dictator baby only looks at what's in it for me and my billionaire buddies.

Cliffs:

-Sweden is deploying its Gripen fighter jets on a NATO air defense mission for the first time.

-The jets were designed to fight Russia and are now set to be used in Polish skies.
-Sweden joined NATO in response to Russian aggression, specifically the invasion of Ukraine.

-NATO's newest member is deploying a fighter jet that is designed for a fight with Russia to protect alliance borders for the first time.

This is just the start of European soldiers helping ukraine and eventually, Ukraine will have European troops from various nations stationed as peacekeepers. But also, another intention of this could be in marketing the Gripen, as getting American F-16s and F-35s might not be worth the risk.

‼️ A ceasefire in Ukraine would sharply increase security threats to the Baltic states, warn Estonian & Lithuanian defense ministers in the Financial Times. Russia would use the pause to rebuild its military strength.
