Trump's going to ring up Zelenskyy and tell him the amazing news, hockey matches are back on between America and Russia!

Such an amazing negotiator, surrendered Putin a dozen concessions and Putin still managed to whittle his ceasefire proposal down to even less than what he originally proposed, Lmao. And this isn't a comment about whether a full ceasefire is a good thing or not but a comment on how fucking terrible Trump's negotiation skills are, he's either the biggest moron on the planet or a Russian asset. Russia's oil facilities are saved by Trump, whilst Russia is still allowed to bomb Ukrainian civilians but hey, at least Russia can't bomb Ukraine's energy facilities now, in the fucking Spring, Lol.

It would seem that Ukraine has came out ahead in this, quite surprisingly.  They don't have to agree to a ceasfire, and will continue to get American aid.  I don't see the problem at all.

The soft prohibition on the attacks on refineries definitely helps russia though, since they are known to be one of the largest oil producing nations worldwide.

Also, i have never seen America complain at all about the drone/missle attacks on russian refineries.

All things considered it's not as bad as it could have been, but it's just more embarrassing how pathetic Trump looks, I mean, after offering Russia a dozen concessions, some already issued and some being considered, Trump's original proposal of a ceasefire across the frontline has been whittled down by Putin to a ceasefire on energy infrastructure. So in Europe we have Putin rejecting Trump's ceasefire and in the Middle-East we have Trump's other ceasefire completely collapsing.

I think Ukraine will agree to it if only to keep Trump "happy" but I do believe this proposal still benefits Russia more than Ukraine, as Russia's main tactics on energy infrastructure is to hurt civilians and demoralise the country, this tactic is best employed during Winter when Ukraine hits freezing temperatures, now they're in Spring it makes Putin accepting this "concession" a lot easier and appear to Trump as being reasonable, when the true reason he is accepting it is because Ukraine is absolutely hammering the shit out of Russia's oil facilities, which is hammering their economy and their ability to perform military operations.

But at least it wasn't Trump saying "I agree with Putin, Ukraine should dismantle their entire army!" Lol.

This ceasefire idea benefits Russia more than Ukraine in this moment in time though, if it was still Winter then it would maybe be a different argument because a lot more civilians lives would be at risk. Either way, Russia will still target and kill Ukrainian civilians, they just won't attack energy infrastructures...Apparently.

Ideally Ukraine should reject it and keep hitting Russia's oil facilities but Ukraine has to please the orange baby too.

BBC is reporting this is one of the Kremlin's demands as well.

  • The Kremlin demands no more mobilisation or rearmament from Ukraine during the 30 day ceasefire

It already benefited Russia more with just the energy infrastructure ceasefire, it's already strongly debatable if Ukraine should accept that one, if this is also included then there's no way Ukraine can accept it, if this is one of Kremlin's demands then it makes you question (not really) why America left it out of their own statement.

As it is reported by the White House that Russia agreed to a partial ceasefire, here is what the evening looks like in Ukraine with yet another air raid alert & the threat of drones & ballistic missiles over several regions of Ukraine.

🚨 Kremlin demands halt to foreign military aid and intelligence to Ukraine as a condition to avoid war escalation.

The demand came after a call between Putin and Trump. Putin also announced a prisoner exchange and pledged to release wounded Ukrainians.

From bad to absolutely despicable. Trump ended a U.S.-funded initiative documenting Russia’s war crimes, including a sensitive database detailing the mass deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.

“Putin, do you want more so I can save face?”

Agreed with all of this

Zelensky confirmed that the 175-for-175 prisoner exchange, proposed during the Trump-Putin call, was pre-planned. He received the info from the Security Service and GUR, but emphasized that exchanges are always positive for Ukraine.

Immediately after the talks ended, Russia fired a barrage of drones at Ukraine, one of those drones hit an energy facility.

❗️Russia just broke the "ceasefire" and attacked the energy sector in Slovyansk, Donetsk region.

That’s all you need to know…

🤬 Amidst talks of a ceasefire and an end to energy strikes, Russia has struck an energy facility in Slovyansk in the Donetsk region. The city is partially without electricity.

Now it may be said that Ukraine didn't agree yet to the ceasefire and thus it isn't active, but here is what Putin told Trump.

So that was a total lie and even if it wasn't, it is still a blatant mockery of Trump, to launch a barrage of missiles and drones as soon as the talks ended, at Ukraine, of course, Trump will rollover like a good little dog and bark at Ukraine instead.

Zelenskyy has responded.

No mention of the energy ceasefire but Russia is already making a blatant mockery of Trump so...

The amazing negotiator Trump couldn't quite work "don't kill civilians" in his "peace" attempts yet either.

Now we'll likely go back to Trump blaming Ukraine like the good Russian asset he is.

Absolutely abysmal performance from Trump. He almost met the bare minimum of not agreeing about anything that would favour Russia. That said, this is better than I feared - but make no mistake, this is no compliment to Trump, he just sucks less than I feared he would.
