Oleksiy, one of the Ukrainian soldiers, said that he didn't see the development as the decision of the American people but rather that of one man. "It is a pity, but we will fight," he added. Some Ukrainian officials have said that Russia is advancing, Kyiv can't use some of its best weapons, and there are concerns about ammunition, according to recent reports.

"If we run out of ammunition for the American machine gun, we will use other guns," Oleksiy said, adding: "Even if they are of a smaller caliber, we will still do our job." The deputy air defense unit commander, whose name is also Oleksiy, said Ukrainian lives depend on US military support. "We hope this issue will be resolved in the near future," he said. "We are on our own land, and we want to defend it."

Nate Vance, a Texan who said he volunteered for three years fighting on the front lines against Russia’s Putin-ordered invasion of its neighbor, told Le Figaro in an interview published Sunday that he is “disappointed” in his “good” and “intelligent” cousin over the administration’s sudden and abrasive turn away from supporting America’s war-torn ally.

“When [JD Vance] criticized aid to Ukraine, I thought it was because he needed to appeal to his electorate, that it was part of the political game,” Nate Vance told Le Figaro. “But what they did to Zelensky was an ambush of absolute dishonesty.” He and his politician cousin share grandparents, and he said the two of them have vacationed together. Nate Vance added that he has tried to contact JD, but hasn’t received a response.

“Being your family doesn’t mean I’m going to accept you killing my comrades,” he added to Le Figaro.

Biden should never have given $350B (fake news). He should have matched Europe. All he had to do was say: you must be on the same level as us, – Trump told Fox News.

On Zelensky he said: "He took American money like candy from a baby. I don’t think he’s grateful."

"Well, it might not survive anyway, but you know we have some weak spots with Russia. You know it takes two. Listen, this war shouldn’t have happened, but it did. So now we’re stuck in this mess."

🇺🇦 Ukraine will likely make it clear to the U.S. that any peace deal restricting its rearmament, forcing recognition of occupied territories as Russian, or interfering in internal politics—such as pushing for elections—is unacceptable, Economist writes.

Name a single fucking concession that you've demanded of Russia, because you've demanded about 10 of Ukraine so you should be able to name at least one Russian concession, why are American journalists so useless. I bet these dumb fucks think "You aren't allowed the rest of Ukraine but we aren't going to protect Ukraine" is a damn concession to Russia.

"Russia took 15-20% of Ukraine but we verbally told Russia, naughty Russia! No more taking Ukraine territory! And that is the difficult concession we demanded of Russia"

The long list of participants in Tuesday’s discussions will also include Asian and Oceania nations that will join remotely, the French official said. The international makeup of the meeting offers an indication of how broadly France and Britain — which are working together on plans for the force — are casting their net as they aim to build what the French official described as a coalition of nations “able and willing” to be part of an effort to safeguard Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire.

Also attending will be the chiefs of staff of Ireland and Cyprus and a representative from Austria — all nations that are not NATO members but are in the European Union. Australia and New Zealand, which are Commonwealth nations, as well as Japan and South Korea, will listen into the talks remotely, the official said.

I don't recall any instance of calling anyone a traitor where the person being called a traitor actually behaved like one. It's always the one calling the other party traitor that's rousing up people. I'm sure there must be legit instances of calling someone a traitor, but that seems extremely rare to me, so seeing someone called a traitor is usually a huge red flag to me.

I loathe that piece of shit Musk. He brought his privileged Boer grievances to the US.

4 lessons to be learned from Zelensky’s White House meeting

https://thehill.com/homenews/5177131-zelensky-trump-meeting/

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The author of the article states that zelensky did rather poorly in his televised meeting with Trump and crew. He also offers advice on things that he feels should have been handled more skillfully. I personally disagree, and it seemed like a lot of calculated low blows from just about everyone else in the room besides zelensky, they were all very critical of him. And zelensky is only trying to save his people. Anyway, i disagree that zelensky should have done anything better, because this meeting has resulted in more aid from Europe. Europe knows 100% now that Trump doesn't have any interest in helping, and before, there may have still been some doubt as to whether or not he would abandon Ukraine. If anybody else has any thoughts, please share.
