I know I said I would avoid Twitter. Sorry! Only this once though, I'm just angry and can't be bothered to search for every one on Bluesky.

Ukraine is Europe!
We stand by Ukraine.

We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor.

Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.

Please...Fucking...Please....Please!!!

Let this finally be the fucking wake up call for the love of God, I've said this about 50 times already and Europe never wakes up.

Europe needs to be the new leader. European defence spending should be 3% minimum. Bad faith actors like Hungary and Slovakia need to be booted out. Use every single tool and trick in our disposal to ramp up military production and Ukraine support. Stop the fucking concern about bankers with Russian assets and desperately trying to convince America around.

The lacking commitment to make Ukraine win this war has always been a question of political will. Not money or any other resources.

The USA bowing out is certainly a negative, but at the same time it finally removes the uncertainty regarding their commitment which is something that has held back Europe's commitment for over a year now. I don't know if things will get better or worse from here on out, but the likelihood that we finally get past the status quo of "Ukraine must not lose" is higher than ever before.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Every single “you are not alone” message rn makes me tear up a little

NGL..Seeing all the European messages of support is making me feel a little emotional too, I feel prouder than ever to be European.

But I am so fucking tired of Europe saying a lot and never backing it up with action...All I do is beg for action now...

Meanwhile

Zelenskyy ought to fly out of America now, I wouldn't put it past Trump to arrest him and deport him to Russia.

The transformation of the U.S. from a democracy to a kakistocracy was officially completed today

I worried Trump would find a way to make an excuse to pull support for Ukraine but wasn’t expecting a spectacle like this.
What worries me though is beyond the end of military aide, Musk will almost certainly pull Starlink and Trump will likely end sanctions on Russia, making things very problematic.
European governments have come out in numbers to back Ukraine but this does feel like a turning point in the war. How do Europeans respond in actions as opposed to just words? The steady trickle of military end won’t turn the tide in Ukraine’s favour, boots on the ground might and it feels like thats what it is coming to but are European governments really prepared to do that? I doubt it.

On a side note, im not looking forward to seeing the comments from all the Russia patsies on the newspaper site I read. Theyll be out in droves tonight.

Also, so much for Trump the dealmaker ending this war in 24 hours.

Promises made, promises broken.

Poland should go and cancel the order for the remainder of the 250 M1 Abrams tanks (and maybe even the F35 Lightning II aircraft), citing how they treated and threatened Zelensky and that they'd rather buy from other countries instead. Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, Romania and maybe even Greece could do the same, cancelling their cumulative orders of over 200 F35.

That would hit the US right there where it really hurts them (and Trump), at their economy. Doubly so because most of the military industry is situated in Republican States.
