I read somewhere a few weeks back that the rare earth resources in Ukraine are worth at approximated 12 trillion. Which Russia currently controls the biggest share of in the occupied regions.

US wanted what 500bn worth, now they talking 50% and only for past help? FMD talk about a criminal act. Bet US also want Russia to get the other 50%

At this point Europe should just starting to annex Belarus. If they do that surely they will have a seat at the negotiation table and an annexed Belarus is less dangerous for Ukrain.

Dictators only listen to action and invading a Russian influenced state to secure Ukrainian is future surely will catch some attention. The other thing Europe can do to become relevant is fully side with Palestina. And flatten Israel when they attack again.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

a quick and as painless as possible annexation of Belarus could get Putin out of Ukraine and save many lives, but Putin would most probably use nuclear

crazy how Putin has managed to convice the West he is scared of NATO, when he has 6000 nukes 🤷‍♂️ probably the only one thing he did right

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I wonder if Putin would actually help Lukashenko, or just drop him like a rock.

🚨 The U.S. wants to control Ukraine’s rare metals. An official called the deal colonial. Bessent gave the document 4 hours before meeting Zelensky, who had minutes to review it. Bessent pushed for immediate signing, but it was a non-binding memorandum.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 The U.S. is disappointed that Zelensky didn’t sign a deal granting the U.S. access to Ukraine’s rare earth resources, says Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes.

"Zelensky short-sightedly rejected a great opportunity offered by the Trump administration."

My understanding is that the format for the Paris meeting is actually France, Germany, Italy, UK, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, NATO sec-gen, EU commission & council presidents.

VG writes that Denmark will represent Norway in Paris on Monday, via being chair of the Nordic Baltic 8.

Reasonable to believe that Denmark also will represent the rest of the group.

NB8 as acting as block is gaining traction.

Nice to see, I would rather a Baltic rep from a Baltic country actually be there but if Denmark can represent their concerns well then I suppose it's not bad if the Baltics trust Denmark to represent their concerns and thoughts and if Baltics feel they are being acknowledged. It's a step up from last year which was only UK, Germany, France and USA with even Poland being excluded from high level meetings, Lol.

I doubt he ever would. Putin and other dictator's are survivors, cockroaches. The nuclear option is and always be suicide.

However occupying a third country isn't going to help matters along either. If NATO or Europe is going to send troops, it should be to liberate Ukraine and strengthen its borders including a no fly zone. Don't make the mess bigger by invading another country. (Helping Ukraine taking a bigger buffer zone in Russia for negotiations could work)

⚡️Ukraine, Europe must be involved in peace talks, Rubio says.

"Ukraine will have to be involved, because they're the one that were invaded, and the Europeans will have to be involved because they have sanctions on Putin and Russia as well."

Absolute chaos happens when there is no coherent plan or organization. At the end of the day, I’m not sure if any U.S. official statements carry weight anymore, because it all comes down to what President Trump thinks is right at that particular moment

The US has offered Ukraine a one-sided deal to secure access to Ukraine’s rare-earth minerals after the war, but has not guaranteed that Ukraine would be permitted to participate in peace talks.

What is even going on, it's complete fucking incompetence in this admin, holy shit.

Yeah it's really something. Everyone in the Trump administration just says different things, sometimes it's even contradicting. Do they like, not have meetings or something?

Fuck Off.

Seriously, Zelensky should have drawn a penis or something along those lines on the  paper while making like signing the paper to show what that paper is worth.

Also, great opportunity? For whom exactly except Trump?
