Forums - Gaming Discussion - When will video game companies will be held liable for releasing broken games?

You can ask for a refund on pc and xbox, Playstation so not sure what's the issue?

Do you get your money back when a movie sucked?

Also we have a lot of people who say game X sucks but then have like a playtime of 80 hours...

Around the Network

When people stop buying them.

Yeah it sucks, but it's odd hearing this since I see damaged vegetables and fruits every time I go to markets in the US, messed up orders, we lazy af. Basically, there will be bad stuff mixed in with good stuff, u just have to buy the good stuff. And hope ur not unlucky, bcuz it's the same for everything else (food in the US inconsistent af)

When publishers/devs push for a firm date and the game is simply not ready, and still go forward anyway. You know its going to be bad. Whether its scope, incompetent coding or simply just down to time and manpower there's no excuse for releasing a game incomplete or in a sorry state.

CP 2077 is the perfect example of this. Then you have the more recent Saints Row game. Those games need(ed) at least another year of development and testing before release. Instead of incomplete messes we got.
