I was disappointed by the reboot. Hopefully the sequel has some better writing and martial arts. Not holding my breath, though.

I liked the cast of the Mortal Kombat reboot...but did not like the story at all.

The movie was so bad. It's like they decided to make the modern MK Annihilation first.

Pretty much, yeah. I watched like 15 minutes of it before giving up. Its frustrating because WB can get it right - see the animated movies.

Hopefully this one doesn't have that newbie as the main (think it was Cole-something) because he sucked.

The reboot was bad, but I assumed they had bigger ambitions for future sequels that would make up for it lol. It felt like a prequel to a prequel lol.

I liked Kano.

He was a laugh.

Umm. Yeah.

It was ok in some areas. I'd go for another reboot though. It's currently on Netflix.
