An MMO could be good on Wii if they have a harddrive, a headset, and they manipulate the camera with the IR instead of trying to use the D-pad.

Why would a hard drive be crucial?

You'd proly get banned for asking a question like that on a MMORPG Forum.

The lifeblood of MMORPGs is regular updates and expansions, which require significant storage space. Without these, it'll be a short, shallow, and most likely broken experience (compared to others on the market). There's really no way to do a "full" MMO up to the standards we're used to without a few gigs of spare storage.

Well they can still make something like "Phantasy Star Online" wich was a much simpler MMORPG with focus in multiplayer action and small quests. It didn't needed a HD and if there are "expansions" they cab release then on Wiiware.

Interesting, Shadowbane the PC game? It's actually a decent semi-well known game for PC players who enjoy playing MMO PVPs. It'll be odd seeing them make a MMO in Wii because they specialize in PVP games.

um it would fail

the wii doesnt have an hard drive

friend code sucks

no headset

Maybe if you got a PC and played Shadowbane before you wouldn't call it epic fail...than again you might call it epic fail since they couldn't get enough subscribers and now the game is no longer Pay to Play...but wait that's still a plus...so confused...

1. Not necessarily

2. Doesn't need one

3. That's nice, has no relevance to an MMO

4. Don't care

shadowbane was a awesome pvp mmo, but it lacked content, and after 1 month i had nothing left to do so i quit, it also was a click to move as main control scheme, witch would work great on the wii in theory, a port of shadowbane with more content on the wii might actualy work well

why mmo need a hard drive? if i remember everquest on ps2 didn't need one.

Because cant have voice chat if ps2 can do
Nintendo annunced a few week ago that wii have game that you have to paid for play ( and all the anti nintendo suddenly complain) i think that this game are mmo
