Homeworld 3 has released another official trailer linked below.

It looks to follow the first two games a lot and continues on the story. Looking very promising.

Game is also releasing on Epic Games Store and Steam. Its due out at the end of the year.

I never played the campaign but enjoyed skirmish on homeworld 2, and the complex mod for it.

I'd never played either game until the remaster package that released a few years ago. Ended up really, really impressed by the campaigns and the gameplay. The visual overhaul was also excellent. Looking forward to this, although my expectations are a little lower, because the budget's obviously not huge and Deserts of Kharak was a bit disappointing (it wasn't bad, merely decent, which is a bit of a come down from the Homeworld titles).

Homeworld has one of the best Sci-Fi stories, to know they are continuing it is exciting. I really liked Deserts of Kharak though it isn't a mainline title and basically a spin off. Just like Halo Wars is to Halo.

Homeworld doesn't really need a huge budget, as its focusing more on how the first games looks. Its also being made by the original creators which know exactly what they want which is comforting to know.

My fingers are crossed it turns out every bit as good as the originals. They have a lot to live up to yet its been so long that i think ill be happy regardless just to play the genre again.

I'm just excited to get another homeworld game.
They have nailed the atmosphere and visuals in the trailer, so that is a very good indication that things are heading in the right direction.

So far its looking really good. Even the Mobile game that was suppose to release was keeping to tradition. Not sure whats happened to its full release yet.

When I got the first one on my shitty computer in 99', I may have spent most of my holday playing, finding the best fighter/corvette ratio, what was the best formation...
It's the first 3D RTS I played and moving the camera was an interesting challenge.
After a few days I got out in town, and at one moment I found out I was trying to right click and move an imaginary mouse in my hand when I was turing my head ^^ Good times...
