The reason Zack & Wiki dropped price so fast is because it bombed. It had a retail shipment of 300k worldwide, but it's likely that it didn't even sell half of it to Wii owners.

So sad that the adventure genre is effectively dead. And no Z&W isn't one. At least from what I saw its a puzzle game. But that was max. 30% of what made an adventure. The other 70% were story and humour.

DotT, Indi4, Simon2, Monkey Island 1+2, Baphomet's Curse. You are missed.

It does have some story and humour around the puzzles, but, I agree, it's not the same... add Space Quest and Kings Quest series to the missed adventures.

Looks like it's out of stock directly from amazon, but is available for $30 after shipping. I think $30 was/is the normal price?

We have a nice list of adventure games here, but no one has mentioned the Gobliiins series, which is far closer to what Z+W is like than these other games. As Kyros said, Z+W isn't really a point a click adventure, it's more a series of puzzles.

Well I said before that was my price to purchase it Zack & Wiki. Once my tax return comes in i'll be giving Gamestop some nice business. Now for No More Heroes to follow suit.
