@Torpoleon
I highly doubt games like MK8DX reached their "final position". Its the question how far it goes beyond 70 million. And thats not the only game.

@killer7 I meant in terms of placement on the list and not strictly in terms of the sales numbers themselves. MK8 DX is either going to stay at #2 or move up to #1 (personally believe it will stay at #2, but at least counting both versions of MK8 would likely put it above Wii Sports at the end.

Ah i thought you wanted to say that Switch games won't sell much more from that point but placements on the list is more realistic.

@killer7 I mean most Switch games probably just have a few million more at most left in the tank (except MK8 DX, which probably has at least close to 10m left lol). But yes, I was referring mostly to their placements on the list.

Ok, but "a few million more" means there could be position changes in the ranks below.

Updated through the end of March 2025. There's definitely been some movement with titles, notably that SV has now surpassed SWSH. Surprisingly, no update on Luigi's Mansion 3 or 3D World. I would've thought both titles would hit over 1m this past FY, but I guess not. Since CESA no longer reports sales figures, there's no idea when we'll get updates on those games, if ever.

Also, the Switch 2 editions count towards Switch 1 if it is digital.

Updated with the new data through June 30, 2025. Not too many changes this time around (no placement changes). MK World should be on the list by the end of the year.

I don't like how Nintendo is reporting their Switch 2 Edition games (if it is bough physical, it is counted as Switch 2 software, but digital releases are counted as Switch 1). I think for this list, I will count the entirety of Switch 2 Edition games as Switch 1 releases (especially since you can still put a Switch 2 edition cartridge in a Switch 1, so it is different from something like BOTW on Wii U vs Switch 1).

I think that's the best way to do it. Thank you for the work you put in!

Pokemon Legends Z-A will probably be the last game that could enter 10M club on Switch.

Top 100 Nintendo published games. Super Mario Advance (5.57 million) is pushed out the Top 100, Mario Kart World (5.63 million) enters at 99 with just a month's worth of sales.
