Forums - Sony - How many Sony guys are getting a Wii?

Nope.

Don't need the Wii, all the best games are coming to/on the PS3.

MGS4!

i preordered a Wii before launch (only because i though there would be a shortage). There was and i sold it for $90 more than i paid for it.

I went SNES > N64 > PS2 > PS3

I doubt that i'll ever buy a Wii. My friend has one (ps3 is his primary console) and he has no problem with me borrowing it from time to time. I did that when galaxy and no more heroes came out, and i'll do it again next time there's something i want to play on the Wii.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

I have only had PS1/2/3/PSP so far, but I will be getting a 360, but no wii unless a few things happen=
1. 1:1 lightsaber game with a peripheral
2. an apple green console (at £120)
3. Kingdom Hearts III
4. Final Fantasy games

However, it would still be my tertiary console

I might get a Wii, when more games that interest me come out for it. I would rather buy a 360, which I will someday.

I think the PSWii combo gives you the best libary of games .

I love the brighter and more colourful games Nintendo offer.

And the more high def , immeserive games Sony offer.

Factoring the functionality , games libary and other usefull stuff these two consoles offer it's really a no brainer.

I owned a PS2, GC, and Xbox last gen.

This gen I own a DS and Wii. I had a PSP till it was stolen, and at this point in the PSP's life I don't consider it worth replacing.

I will own a PS3, DS, and Wii. Although PC will always be my primary gaming platform, I feel that the perfect combination of consoles is PC, Wii, and PS3. PC covers the 360 games and the multiplats plus its own great games. PS3 and Wii both have unique enough libraries to be worth their own purchases.

This may be the first generation that I don't buy all major consoles, as I really don't see a purpose in owning a 360 if I have a good gaming PC and a PS3. Maybe I'll buy one next generation when it's under $150.

I've already gotten a Wii, but I only have one game for it. I have Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Don't like anything else...maybe Zelda, but haven't had time to pick it up yet.

I'm looking forward to some of the RPG's coming out in the future...especially if they'll allow use of the traditional controller.  The Wii rounded out my trifecta of next gen consoles.

If you don't see anything in the 360 right now I can only assume that you're either not into RPGs or the DS is completely satisfying that urge.

My problem is that there's a little bit of everything I want to play. All I'm missing is a PC, which I should build before Left4Dead and Starcraft hit. I play my PS3/PSP the least but I'm looking forward to MGS4. I like the 360 for the RPGs, Halo, and most multi-plat games (prefer the controller & I have more friends on Live). I wanted the Wii for Nintendo and some Capcom games. The DS doesn't get much use but every once in a while, there's something I need to play for it (like the Castlevania side-scrollers).

I think I'm just a schizophrenic gamer. I have to own everything and I'm completely impartial when it comes to companies (dislike them all, pretty much) so brand name means nothing to me. I go where there are games I want to play.

What exactly do you play on the PS3?
