Forums - Gaming - Tales of Arise has already sold over 1 million copies (not even 10 days old).

Selling over a million in a few days for a Japanese RPG... that's quite new and surprising. Finally the world is noticing the quality of these games. Probably has to do with the fact that there are very little AAA releases this year so gamers are game hungry.

Fantastic game. Already finished it. I don't have the best history with liking Tales games but this is just an amazing game. Namco is killing it this year with Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I bought it on a whim after seeing videos of the gameplay and my God this is a fantastic game. The combat flows really well and the systems are introduced gradually so you don't get overwhelmed. The environments are gorgeous and vibrant, the effects spectacular, exploration is rewarded and although battles are not random encounters, I make sure to run to every enemy I see because the combat is so addictive. Highly recommended.

Signature goes here!

Nice to see! I am hoping this gets a Switch port! It would be day one for me when/if it does! Definitely looks more like Shining Resonance Refrain combat than Vesperia, which to me is great!

Completely deserved. This is the best Tales Of game, and BY FAAAAAR.

I always liked the concept of the Tales Of games, but the execution always putted me off. It was always either the combat, aesthetics or the story that didn't click with me.

But Arise? Oh boy, I am loving every bit of it. I will say that there are areas that can be improved greatly, as having bigger maps to further incetivize exploration, as the game lacks that, but its a excellent game(so far).

The way this is selling, it will probably reach 2 million in 2 lor 3 months, and I wouldn't be surprised if it sold 3 million in around a year.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

It would look so rough on Switch. Besides if they are not even putting Zesteria or Bersia on Switch I highly doubt this will.

Just looked at the info dump on Tales games on the main page. 25 million is a lot better than I thought. Hopefully Arise is a sign of things to come.
