If the characters have their typical designs or something similar and they also talk, it will be quite weird for me, but at least I don't think Mario and Luigi will, they'll probably just do their usual one liners.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

But would that work for the movie? If they did just their usual one liners it'd come off as really awkward.

Yeah, I know. They could make it work, I guess? Or make Mario and Luigi completely silent? However, those options don't seem to be too enticing for a modern children's movie, so I guess you're right, the plumbers have to talk. I really wish to finally to watch the first trailer and see what they came up with, it's been so many years since the announcement.

You will have like 5 actual characters and the rest will be Toads as IE loves to recycle assets in the same movie to an annoying degree. IE makes horrible films and this will be shit. IE has stated before they will approach the Mario film the same as their other works of shit. It's sad the best version of Mario on the screen will remain Lou Albano.

That fucking well better not have been a shot at Lou Albano.

Likely isn't, I think the other versions are a Japanese animated film and good ol' Bob Hoskins. Unless I'm severely mistaken.
