Had mine for a week now. Have to say this thing is awesome as a console and as a portable PC system. Pc Games, Emulators and Linux. Whats not to like!

Steam Deck Windows drivers are now available

https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1675200/view/3131696199122435099

- For now you can only perform a full Windows install. While Steam Deck is fully capable of dual-boot, the SteamOS installer that provides a dual-boot wizard isn't ready yet.
- Also for now, you can only install Windows 10. Windows 11 requires a new BIOS that is currently in the pipe (which provides fTPM support) and will be shipping soon.
- Drivers are provided for GPU, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Audio drivers are still in the works with AMD and other parties - but you'll still be able to use Bluetooth or USB-C audio with Windows on Deck."

Talk about good timing. I probably won't be installing Windows just yet but I am glad to see they are providing it. The benchmarks and comparisons will be interesting to see as Valve is still working on compatibility for games to work on Linux but installing Windows should mean there won't be any compatibility issues. But on the other hand, you do lose key features such as Suspend and Resume functionality for games which is important for portables but that's more of an OS level issue with Windows.

Apex Legends is now verified on Steam Deck! That's a huge hurdle when it came to the top played multiplayer games on Steam. Great to see!

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

It's alive!...er... It arrived!

Nice! That's one sexy and chungus console/PC. Which model did you get?
