Yea I agree the first Pokemons were the best then it started going down hill. I don't really care if Ash, Brock,Gary or Misty is in the game ......Just remake the Yellow, Blue, or Red version in full 3D with online battle and trade enabled i'll be a happy camper.

I'd live with that and love it, but I really want to play through the entire first couple of series as Ash. Imagine going to each Gym, solving the problems it takes to battle each leader like in the show (though with different problems to make it interesting) before arriving at the Pokemon League
lol just name your character Ash and have the same pokemon as him :)

What i would like even more is if the game had the 251 Pokemon. My favourite Pokemon is Lugia so i'd kill for a (high quality) game based on Silver/Gold/Crystal.

I'm sure they have been working on this for years - and it might be ready. Imagine getting "episodes to play", delivered weekly via WiiConnect24 (maybe 100pts each or something).

...

Actually, I had a thought a few weeks back about a Pokemon MMO concept:

"Pokemon World MMO"

The key concept is very simple. Its an MMO, split into lots of servers - at least one per country or region where players are in (Europe, US, Australia, etc..).

Each region (i.e. in the real world) has its ybe OWN set of Pokemon. Be a lot of commons (maybe 50), and a lot of uniques to that region (50-100).

You can't CHOOSE your server - its based on your IP, or where you live.

So in effect, the Pokemon you catch is based on where you live - you CANT get the others.

There are regular colliseum battles/comps (daily?), where lots of people can sign up (may cost money?), and you battle people your rank, from other parts of the world - for Pokemon. There might also be some form of trading system (like in Diamond).

The idea is to get people to *physically* travel to new parts of the planet to "collect them all", or to make friends with people OS. Maybe by making friends, you can form a group, and visit "their" server with a return trip later.

People playing in "rare" parts of the world would have a chance to catch some really rare Pokemon (maybe based on real world local fauna?).

There should also be some "single" Pokemon, where only one person can own/hold at once - they keep them for a maximum of say a week, then they return to the wild. The owners of these Pokemon are displayed somewhere online, maybe they get to enter a special online battle (others can watch the battle of course).

great idea but seems a bit complicated

IDK, but I really liked the Ruby/Sapphire gen. I mean, Blaziken, Kyogre, Groudon, Salamence, Latios/Latias, etc. I'd like a Pokemon game with those in too.

Personally, I think they should make a Pokemon MMORPG for the Wii and include all the Pokemon thus far. That would be awesome.

You're kidding. HOW could you like the Ruby/Sapphire gen? If there's one thing that cut my interest in Pokemon (back then) it's the ugly Pokemon designs of R/S.

This would be EPIC.

I rate the chances of it happening between 0 and -25%.

Smashing idea, young chap :^D

OP: But remaking them would ruin the nostalgia. Pretty much what makes the games seem as good.Srsly, you can't compare a remake tothe original(in most cases -_-?).

Not true.  I have the entire (almost) first season of Pokemon on VHS.  I watched it the other day and there were tears in my eyes lol.

lol. Very well. However I would just rather play the original unless ninty made a game to change my decision. Done well I may convert :o

I doubt Nintendo will ever make a good Pokemon game on their console, they save the good ones for their portables can be successful.

Nintendo still doomed?
