Forums - Sony - Increasing the Value Proposition of PS Now

Ps now to even be considered a competition to gamepass is to remove streaming barrier fot ps1, ps2 and ps3 games and the game should have resolution boosted to 4k native and Fps of 60fps where they can apply it.

^This!

I commented a few weeks ago that they should add the ability to download games. Someone else commented that you can in fact download games. Your post reminded me that PS1/PS2/PS3 games can only be streamed. If they were to fix that Gamepass would be in big trouble. Lots of PS1/PS2/PS3 titles are still amazing to this day. A library like that playable from your own hardware would bury Gamepass in terms of content.

Edit: They would have to get a lot more PS2 games onto the service, but if I were able to throw my entire PS2 collection/wishlist onto PS Now you would have something like 80 amazingly good playable games from that era. Add in PS3/PS1 and they'd have a lot more games than Gamepass for a good while.

Around the Network

They need to rebrand for one. Many people still see Playstation now as a streaming service and thats primarily why there is no traction.

Rebrand to Play on Demand. Make it clear its a download based subscription with streaming as an additional benefit with an increased library

Well it is pretty much the case.

Sony Pictures sucks. Nothing more to say

Don't you like Spider-man movies ? Or Venom ? Or Once Upon A Time in Hollywood ? Or Men In Black ?
