My view is it's fine for people to post threads for/to their own content as long as: 1) most of the time it's gaming related, and 2) they're taking part in the community in other ways too (the most obvious example being making posts in other threads) and not just using the site as an outlet to spam advertise their own stuff. This is the rule most subreddits adopt and I think it's a good one.

I'm going to try my best to take part in the community as I readily admit that time is... erhm... in short supply for me

I am a gaming channel, though, so it's always going to be gaming related lol

Good on you for being conscientious and asking first... Doesn't sound like mods are making it mandatory, but I think using one single thread for episodic content like this is best, as it keeps everything in one place and doesn't swamp general forum with separate threads. You can also save your "copy and paste finger" by just having one general introduction about yourself and the channel at the top of thread, and only post the synopsis of the video with each video post. Besides, if there is running commentary or discussion then it's probably easier to have that in one thread too. I guess after a certain point it will be too long for most people to read/view it all, but not worst problem in world to have.

Don't you have a youtube channel?, I may have been hallucinatory but I seem to remember a booming baritone voice attached to a fine bald head , so are you agreeing just so you can post your dubious content here.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

You're allowed to post threads with link's to other people's content in them, so I don't know why this would be necessarily different. I'd say just generally follow the guidelines when posting links, which essentially means give enough detail in the post that people know what they're clicking into. If that's happening and we're talking a reasonable amount (we'll probably let you know if it's getting unreasonable) and the content is otherwise suitable to be posted, it should be fine.

While that seems like a good idea on paper, the issue is when the video topics are vastly different and it would completely ruin any tangible discussion.  Ergo, this week's video is (finally) my Monster Hunter Rise review.  But I then have an upcoming video on ray tracing, so you can imagine how merging all this in a megathread would just destroy the nature of each topic lol

Funnily enough, when I was streaming, I ended up mentioning how when I was (re)configuring my Twitch account, I checked out the top streams and one of them was just a girl in a bikini by the pool.  While I had nothing against it, I seriously don't see how I'm supposed to compete with that...

Queue a guy on Twitter telling me to just show my boobs lol

SO I STARTED AN ONLYFANS.  HERE WE GO, GOTTA GET THAT D-ENHANCEMENT SURGERY.

If by "YouTube Channel", you mean "Account I use to search for booty shake videos and post a cell phone video every 10-12 months" then yes. I have a channel.

Since it happened more than 10 minutes ago my mind is hazy, I vaguely recall checking out some game related stuff and your video turned up I think you were doing a hardware review of something.
