Forums - Gaming - How real is Raid Shadow Legends success?

Probably succesful enough to afford the ads. I can imagine many children who follow their favourite youtubers install the game, play for a week and then abandon it, with maybe one in every 1.000 becoming really invested and paying for its microtransactions. Considering how many youtubers Raid sponsors, it must be working. Either that or is some sort of tax fraud ploy.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

To all the people satating they use as-blocking: Ad-blockers don’t work when the ad is a sponsor segment of a video, which is the way Raid is markeded.

At least, it is easy to skip the sponsored segment forward if you want to, albeit sometimes there are creators who actually get creative with these segments so it makes for interesting skits.

Youtube ads are different. You gotta most of the time wait at least 5-15 sec. before you can skip/start the actual video.

Not to mention, when it comes to ads, I actually tolerate segues in ways I wouldn't tolerate shit pregenerated ads. Those are horrific and borderline intolerable.
