IGN Poll: PS3 To Win Console Race

IGN hosted a poll recently that had very simple terms: which console should win the current-gen race? Between the PS3's smaller install base than the competition and its still fairly sparse selection of games (they sputter out slower than ketchup from a glass bottle), we would never have anticipated the poll to swing so wildly in favor of the PS3.
 This is the current poll - This has really caught me by surprise.
 Who do you think should win in the next-generation console race?

This poll is for who "should" win the console race. As in Sony deserves to win because they are such a cool company.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

In the other topic, it's already been discovered that:

A. You can vote more than once.

B. Many people used bots(PS3 was actually in dead last 4 days before the poll ended, and got 400,000 votes in that short span of time)

C. You don't have to be logged in to vote.


Therefore, the poll is invalid and completely bullcrap.

and is now reported by: n4g

...and equally ignorant and biased Sony internet rag, that obviously has no scruples nor does any research before it plasters this news story up. Is should read:

"Sony fans can work bots the best in our poll."

Also, just fyi, this poll isn't on IGN's website, it's an offsite "microsite" kfc advertisement, and therefore, is unmoderated and nearly unaffiliated with IGN.

Well for me the PS3 should win the console war, but too bad it wont, the wii is just too cheap for it to beat it,,, and this is coming from a Sony Fan :)
