Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Dirt 5 patch fixes visual bug

https://dirtgame.com/dirt5/news/dirt-5-patch-notes

You might remember the DF comparison for this game and the fuss over DF labeling the bizarre texture and visual difference for XSX as a bug and the accusations of bias that flew here. Well surprise surprise it was a bug and is fixed with the latest patch. Feel free to continue ignoring this game to play Horizon 4 until it’s “dirt” cheap LOLOL and then get it on a sale, and feel confident that the weird visual bug is gone.

Good to see they are continuing to make fixes.  Hopefully they continue to do so across all platforms.

He probably just forgot he cared enough to be concerned about the performance issues, a month can be a long time.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Launch games are always buggy and Series X likely wasn't primary concern.
