The game will be ironed out over time just like The Witcher 3 was, with frequent updates which will probably take many of the user feedback into account, and those who get it for a last gen console will get to upgrade for free when they get the respective new gen console...

I don’t see how the situation is as bad as people pretend. Sure, the game has issues (even though I haven’t had anything severe happening on my end so far) but I don’t see how those issues are deserving of that much backlash compared to other games before it.

It isn't comparable to Witcher 3 though, I would know. I put 330 hours into it and it's my favourite game probably ever. It's more comparable to Skyrim on PS3. Dreadful framerates, crashing and bugs. Imagine being told you should have done your research on it's performance before the purchase and bought it on PC or 360 instead? Waited for PS4's BC to smooth it out?

I also put tonnes of hours into the Witcher 2.

This isn't me hating on CDPR. This is a big fan, incredibly disappointed. When people defend it buy saying those who own a console the game is literally on sale for, shouldn't buy the game for said console... Such poor and blind defense of CDPR just fans the flames.

Sony hast started to refund the game

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-12-13-sony-has-begun-refunding-unhappy-cyberpunk-2077-fans-playing-on-ps4

Sony is reportedly refunding Cyberpunk 2077 players unhappy with the game's performance on PS4 even past the typical two-hour playtime limit.

A quick glance at the hashtag "Cyberbug2077" exemplifies the type of performance issues and crashes players are experiencing, but base PS4 users, in particular, seem most affected, as detailed in Digital Foundry's analysis that discusses the "exceptionally poor performance" on PS4 and Xbox One.

The post also alleged that Sony was "issuing a business complaint to CDPR about the issues", but at the time of writing, there's no confirmation of this claim.

As Wes reported yesterday, this week CD Projekt shares slumped after reviews of the game suggested Cyberpunk may not end up with a sky-high metascore. While the PC version of Cyberpunk has a 90 metascore on Metacritic, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, which have been heavily criticised for performance issues, do not have a metascore. The PS4 version has a user score of 2.7, and the Xbox One version has a user score of 3.5.

Lots of 0s on Metacritic.
Are you guys all sure you aren't being paid by CDPR to give this game good reviews? I'm not the one saying it. Metacritic Crusaders claim you are...

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

It's good that Sony are refunding, however, I guess performance is not included in the certification process. Should just pull it from the digital store until fixed to be honest.

Googled Sony refunding Cyberpunk and came across a site called niche gamer and apparently accord to some replies its a disaster because gamers rebelled when  they went woke, not because it a buggy mess on PS4,and xbox one also, being woke made it a financial disaster because the stock dropped.

This is my Game of the year.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Fucking hell. People complaining about a game or developer being woke (meaning being against social injustices, sexism, racism, etc), clearly have only themselves, their backwards morales and values to reevaluate.

I’m fucking sick of this generation and era of hyperbolic outcries and self-entitlement.

Meanwhile, they're also being attacked for only having a minor Trans character from that community despite the option to create your own character as trans... They're really copping it from all sides.
