It's a good thing I don't give a crap about having an e-penis or looking at other people's e-penis.  In all honesty, if I can turn off the achievement things for the PS3 Home, I will.  I would have turned off my gamerscore if Microsoft had that option too.  If I get stuck on a game, and want to enjoy the rest, I'll download a savegame.  Plain and simple.

dbot i meant both. it just makes not sence to me that people would buy a product that has such a high failure rate. im not even just talking game consoles here.

As a PC gamers who has played on both 360 and PS3, I have found the PS3 to be more approachable and 360 interface very constrained.
I dont need a Media Center PC to playback Mpeg4 files on my PS3. I can browse my linux file server. With every update the XMB interface seems to be improving.

I agree, I've been loving the improvements they keep making with firmware updates. It's been really nice to have myself or my room mate make a video, picture, or a music track and rather than lug out a laptop, I just tell them to throw it on a flash drive and plug it into my PS3.

It's also really great at home when I want to show my family or friends projects I've done at college. 

Choice 11 was not funny nor was it called for.

EDIT: Nvm, should have kept on reading, you researched, lol. Also, the PS3 can act as a media center too and have videos and music and photos streamed to it. Also, yes, you can stream HD content to it. I'd recommend having your PS3 hooked up by ethernet though...huge lag for me when using wireless. At least in my case.

OT: I believe the one about reseting the video output is in the manual...that's what I remember finding it from at least. Because I take it from my HDTV in my living room to the CRT TV in my bedroom all the time...and the first thing I remember reading on how to reset my video was the manual.

Taking it personally you little girly man? ITS A CONSOLE NOT YOUR WIFE. Also, since I have about 10 others who specifically stated it was funny, it just means you have no sense of humor and probably wear women's underwear. :)
