Tagged games:

Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet& Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal all anticipated for first half of 2021

Horizon Forbidden West to second part.

I don't remember a first year so good on 1st party for Playstation.

Welp for my wallet next year.

I'm also guessing: God of War Ragnarok, Anticipated March 2022.

I heard something like 2021 title. But wasn't on this video.

Yep confirmed on the teaser, probably second half (Holidays perhaps), or Sony moves it to Q1 on 2022 to have no competition.

In between And just saw the OP shortned video as an AD on YT right now.

That is strange. Every main game in the franchise released in March, no exception. I didn't expect Sony to change that tradition. But I guess God of War is bigger than ever now, releasing it during the second half 2021 would move a lot of consoles. With that said, I'm still expecting a delay to March 2022.

The teaser didn't say when in 2021, so it could be a surprise launch on Q2.

Really looking forward to Horizon Forbidden west, so this is great news for me.

I have a feeling God of War will be pushed to 2022 though. The last one was released about two years ago, and with everything going on I find it hard to believe it will land in 2021.

GoW PS4 was 20th April.

Yeah? I stand corrected then. My memory is playing tricks on me.

There’s no spin here, this is a pretty solid year 1 lineup. Diverse genres and art style. Usually PS consoles start slow and ramp up so this is an aggressive tactic to establish an early lead and snowball from there. This is especially effective knowing Xbox won’t be (finally) ramping up until 2022.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Perhaps a lot of assets and even map sections will be reused (remember there several portals were blocked? Perhaps those will be new areas, but the main world and some of the others will be reused), perhaps the assets were made nextgen ready (the game took a lot longer to release than previous GoW).

I will believe in GT7 first half of 2021 only when it releases xD

On the day prior to release they inform a delay of 24 months =p

I just hope PS keeps tradition of also improve over gen instead of now that they will have a strong first year then have worse late year.
