Forums - Gaming Discussion - Cyberpunk 2077 delayed again

2077, indeed.

More like "Devs will need push the crunch for an extended period of time and risk their lifes for a piece of software"

I really wish the management side of CPDR got better and they may have learned from TW3 mistakes but now it just seems like that isn't the case at all. Once again failing to see and comute to their words.

i never understood why people give release dates if they aren't hundred percent sure they'd be able to deliver. Better to jsut give a time frame, with in a year or a few months when they are ready. No need to get people's hopes up. Or just give progress updates and once it goes gold give a time frame.

Anything can happen in a project. Release dates need to be published in advance to prepare all partners in distribution. 1 month is already extremely short.

Compare it with an online store that promises to deliver your package on Monday but then has to delay it because of a sudden storm. It was absolutely necessary to tell you the exact delivery date in advance so you can prepare to receive it. Would you rather that any online store lists all delivery dates in spans of several months just to make absolutely sure they hit the time frame?

what i mean is that they shouldm't announce something too early. Everyone should do what bethesda did with fallout 4 and announce or show off a game that 's near the end of production and give a date when the know it will be done by. There is no need to get everyone hyped too early and waiting when there are other games to keep us busy.

Heck, Nintendo has been doing this all year and it sure worked out just fine.

Interesting:
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-is-ready-for-the-pc-but-current-gen-console-versions-still-need-work/

You would think they could just launch the PC version, if it's good to go.

They probably have a deal with MS or Sony or both to launch simultaneously.

i really lost a lot of hype from this game,
i was disappointed with witcher 3 day one buy but after 1 year i tried it again and spent 100+ hours playing it,
60 hours on gwent though haha!

maybe cyber will surprise me again,
but seriously cuztomise ur dicks and ps$#%#$R on a 1st person game?
is not very enticing!

Maybe they should aim for 2021. 2020 is a shitty year. 20 is the new unlucky number, and to release it this year is a bad omen. Don't do it i tell ya.

Hunting Season is done...
