Just give me a console that plays physical disks, has a bunch of great exclusives (exclusive as in it stays exclusive the whole gen, not ported to PC three years later, with a shitty port, and a huge price tag), and has a reasonable price tag.

If you like exclusives so much shouldn't you be happy that the ports are shitty? Imagine the terrible scenario if they were good.

No, because if the ports are shitty and expensive then I can't reasonably just stick to PC gaming. If I stick to PC gaming, having to wait 3 years for a shitty, expensive port isn't reasonable. On the other hand, if I buy a PS5, having those games ported to PC after three years then I lose the value of owning a PS5.

They either need to do day 1, same price, PC ports, or keep their games exclusive. If there are day 1, same price, PC ports, then I can just happily skip PS5, and buy my AAA games on PC. If they keep their games exclusive for the whole gen, then I can happily buy a PS5, knowing full well that it was a good purchase.

Edit: Or to put it another way, I just don't want to get jerked around. Don't jerk me around by making me wait, in the dark, for a PC release. Don't jerk me around by saying a game is exclusive to a $500 machine, and then release it on another platform three years later.

PC ports are shit, accept it. Odyssey terrible, DQ XI wondered why they bothered.
