Didn't know about it, but will advise my friends that like Souls games.

This is the first Souls Like game that's not all crappy. Here's hoping more is to come.

High praise but what exactly is crappy about souls? You mean the outdated combat right?

I hope he is including Souls itself instead of just the clones and inspired.

Im a big fan of the souls games, I got Demon's Souls back when it first came out, and I've platinumed them all including Nioh and Sekiro. But in terms of Souls like games like this one, Lord of the Fallen, the Surge and so on I have absolutely no interest and just can't get into them. I do wish the game the best since its a small team and looks like effort was given for the game.

Grabbed the PC version from the Epic Store (OH NOES!) this morning. I'll be firing it up this evening when I get off work.

Buy something worth 30 quid on Steam and balance the scales of good and evil in the world.

1. It was only 19 bucks (Canadian) on Epic because I had a coupon from the last sale.

2. Unlike a lot of people, I don't wish any ill will on Epic. They more than make up for any minor annoyances by the sheer number of free games they've given me (134 as of this post).

3. But sure, I'm due to get Hellpoint so I'll probably grab that on Steam.  Balance restored!

Not worthy even 10$ let alone 30. Good for ppl who like the game but for me its just not fan at all with so outdated combat. Bloodborne, Nioh, Ashen, even games like Code Vein and Lords of the Fallen are well worthy time to spend with, but games like this, Immortal Unchained, Hellpoint etc... are just waste of money and time

No i'm crazy about the soulsborne/sekiro games haha. I mean the copycats usually lack the same depth and are usually cluncky or just not well balanced at all. Miyazaki knows his craft and that is not can't be copied so easily.

Mortall shell seems to emulate these things a bit better compared to say the surge, the recent star wars or code vein.

Here is a decent review from one of my favorite soulslike youtubers. Minor spoilers.

What makes it outdated combat in your opinion?
