is it messed up I want WAS to lose just so that whole division has ten losses each? My psychiatrist would legit yell at me because it feeds straight into my OCD

Everyone is rooting for the Eagles for the exact same reason, because there's nobody who legitimately likes the Eagles.

I achieved my best record yet, even better than when I won the whole thing in a ~32 person league. In fact the top 8 this year predicted better than everyone that year. Pretty amazing.

The most interesting thing for me is that I didn't watch a single NFL game this year.

@Rol
"Much of this season has been coined by very similar sets of picks which made the standings from week to week quite stale, so I've pondered to introduce a hero pick rule next year. Simply put, going against the grain will come with the benefit of not only gaining a game on the majority of the league if it works out, but also a tie-breaker point for the standings. The hero pick would apply to every game where under 20% of players go against the odds, so in an example like this year's 12 players, a game would qualify for a hero pick as long as only 1 or 2 players disagree with the majority. There wouldn't be a weekly limit on hero picks either, so it would be possible to earn multiple such bonus points."

Another thing I thought about was when people had sole possession of first place vs when multiple people get first place, it is the same points. For example Level1death here had sole possession of first place, it's great. But 8 out of 17 weeks, people tied for first place. I feel like sole possession of first place is slightly more impressive than tying for it, and can lead to sameish picks of course. That might be tooting my own horn of course because of the 9, it was me (2), Level1Death (2), Castor, Angelus, Chris Hu, Noname and hatmoza. The winner himself Shaunodon had 5 #1 weeks tied with others.

Just a thought though, doesn't really matter to me.

Shaunodon wins the league by the smallest margin we've ever had: 4 tie-breaking points. While Chris Hu had the most weeks with records placed in the top 3, he ultimately had too many of them be only #3s. Despite nobody being able to get to the elusive mark of .700 (180+ correct picks), this still constitutes the strongest year for the prediction league ever, with 7 players getting it right 170+ times.

If I knew this was a big deal, I would've changed a couple picks. To be honest, as the week went on, I got rather concerned about all the personnel changes. I've been reluctant to change any of my picks, as I liked getting them all in early and letting them lie; the one time I made a late change, Teddy Bridgewater took an 8 yard sack before they missed a last second field goal by a yard.

It was a weird week however, and by the weekend most of my important matchups were against the spread. Chiefs and Steelers were fielding practice squads and the Eagles along with the Chiefs had nothing to play for. But once Chris Hu took the Jets, it felt like I should just let it roll as is.

Congrats Shaun and Chris!

Pretty impressive stuff

For the record, castor has submitted all his picks already

Josh Allen is incredible. When playing defense you question the strength of the Bills. But when Allen gets that ball in his hands... wow.

Colts play calling is making me sick. RUN THE BALL. Bills are weak against the run. Run until the end of your downs, and then come back and run some more. Don't get me wrong, I want the Colts to lose, but I just hate seeing bad play calling.

The Colts seems to be doing alright as-is. And I'm not sure the Bills are as weak against the run as they were earlier in the season.But I am a bit surprised the Colts aren't trying to bully the Bills more up front.

Ooph, so close! And I respect them going for it: that should have been a completion!
