Forums - General Discussion - Best 4k TV under $300?

Looking for a new TV as this 1080P Toshiba is starting to crap out after 2 years, so Toshiba is out. Looking for 43 inches no bigger nothing smaller. 3 HDMI ports at least. Heard about TCL but I don't know if I trust a Chinese company with reliability after years of use. Couldn't care less about smart or not. I have a Roku. Just something decent that I can rely on for the next 5+ years. May as well go 4K.

I'm not a videophile by any means but looking at this tho heard some mixed reception on picture quality. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-43-class-6-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv/6363867.p?skuId=6363867

Any better suggestions? Thanks

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

You may be best to wait until black Friday or something.

I would but the Toshiba decided to shit itself now.

For that price your best bet probably a VIZIO V435-H11.

EDIT: Add Link https://www.vizio.com/en/tv/v-series/V435-H11

I'm not sure 4k is worth it at that size. How far away is the TV gonna be placed?

I hear good things about TCL TVs and they're pretty good for their price, check them out if you get a chance.

At least in VGC I only hear about TCL and Vizio when people is discussing about the cheap entry level TVs.
