did your wii survive that fall?
You can usually give the disc to a Play N Trade or any other store that does disc repair and for 4 dollars or so, they will fix it all up. My Gears of War disc looked like it had been thrown in a blender, but I took it to my local Play N Trade and it looked brand new. I seriously thought they pitched my disc and gave me a new one, but they didn't.

When the wii falls over it scratches discs?
just like the 360.
anyways to bad for you. I would complain to nintendo. I did that with my gears of war and they refunded me..
Thank you for the tips, guys.

UPDATE:

Almost any optical drive will do that. If you are on most laptops (because of the limited space), when you tilt your laptop from side to side, you will hear a metal on metal sound. When you take the disc out, it will have scratch rings. The moral of this story: When a CD is in your console/computer, you shouldnt move it around too much at all.

I pulled my Wii over in a heated match of Brawl the other day, but had no problems with disc scratching. I feel for your loss, though. :(
That's why you should play like men. With the WIRELESS!!!!!!! wiimote+nunchuk. It really plays just fine that. Its just different since you're so used to the gc controller. But, after a few humiliating defeats you will be back to your imaginary glory.
