Online people already know if they buy a PS3 or Xbox360 to play the game.

What is essential for MS survival is to make competiting system, competing games, competing support, and competing marketing. Saying this type of bs is useless and will not help them to sell +1 Xbox360 unit.

Fair play MS. There's no harm having a dig at your competitors expense every now and then. And lets be honest, this is hardly serious marketing by MS. Probably more for a luagh. Who is really going to get it seriously?

Even so if it get +1 MS sale then it'll have been worth it.

As if they don't do that all the time, making fun at everyone's expense... while they're the ones who're truly pitty by commenting like that. In case you have forgotten you're true origin... computer systems, software.... software need to be installed all the time on PC's and then we're not talking about a lousy 5 minutes!

I don't give a rats about installing games, except that it eats HDD fast, but like I whine about 5 minutes. I had to wait at least 10 minutes when Hot Shots Golf was installed. You know what I did? I took a cup of coffee and let the PS3 do the job... If that gives me at least 30 hours of gaming pleasure then what the hell are 5 minutes to cry about?

Ironically, the 5 min install is probably the reason R* reps have been telling journos at 1up that the PS3 version is "slightly better".

 Wow, that could not be farther from the truth. Game installs have been around since before there was optical media. It has nothing to do with BR. It has everything to do with a console finally giving the developers one of the advantages PC have had for years.. Until a delivery medium becomes as fast a internal mass storage, this is going to become the norm. It has been for the last 25 years in PC's, from the first time that could, they have. In consoles, from the first time they could, they have.

Gears of War for the PC requires an install. Mass Effect on the PC requires an install. Not because the developers or lazy, or because of BR, but because they can deliver a better game that way, period.

EDIT: So as long as a HD can be expected to be in a console, and optical drives are slower, install will be around. There is nothing temporary about it. 

So, that's how bad off M$ is? We need to brag about 5 minutes? God... I find that sad.
