 Psh, people should play Half-Life 2 (and episodes). Multi-ethnic allies with the main characters not being (in my eyes at least) built on stereotypes (hello 'coletrain'). 

Seriously though look at the pictures. One picture has a black guy holding a camera and 2 white people. Then theres some more pictures of the white guy messing stuff up with a pitchfork, hatchet(looks like), and a gun. Also there are two pictures with the girl and the guy together but there very last picture is the black guy ALONE walking down a dark hall with just a flashlight... come on dose anyone need me to spell out what happens next.

 These screens are too small.  I like keeping things uniform, so I made my own screens from the gametrailers video, thus keeping all screens the same size (640x360). :P

Now that looks scary :D Man I hope that this wont bomb :?

First one sold less than 100,000 in japan

I played the original over at a friend's house and was disappointed. Of course I was probably stoned out of my mind and Silent Hill series ruined all other horror games for me. Much like the original it is sporting some rather impressive, life-like character models. Regardless of my impressions the first go-round, I'll be giving the remake a shot.
