Forums - Sony Discussion - Summer Game fest PS5 hands-on w/ interview

DualSense Controller Hands On event was kinda meh.... learnt little new about it.
Hopefully they get this outta the way now, so they dont waste tons of time on it, at a later date when they show off the PS5 again.

Cerny on the GDC video talked about battery life being better but since he didn`t give any details I would just assume it isn`t worse.

I personally dont care that much, just keep it plugged in if needed.
However I know its a huge issue for alot of people.

Same here. With two controls I basically leave one charging and play the other, during week probably can use a controller all days, while on weekend it may be a full day.

Who would've thought an Astrobot sequel/spinoff would have the potential to be the best "selling" exclusive of all time? 😂 Man this is great.

Will it outsell playroom?

Yeah i think this is it.

Sony wanted to do a lot of hands on events i believe, but if course covid 19 stopped that.

I don't see it appearing next month, but i do think they need to look at small vignettes for games where they try to visually sure off his the controller works in specific games.

Controller looks bigger and heavier which is good for me. One of the main reasons why the controller is one of the worst parts of Playstation for me. Never got warm with it

I like how they said Rachet and Clank cannot be done on ps4 but some people still believe next gen will not be held back by current consoles lol.

Well, the fast on-the-rails changes between dimensions couldn't be done like that but if it will still only be on rails in the final game they could just replace it with CGI or it would just load longer and look much worse in the background.

It's obviously possible just in worse

The warping takes place inside normal gameplay too. They've already shown that off.

And even if we use your example, it's still not the same thing.

I have no idea, well actually I do, why people think the jumps won't be done during gameplay and with some freedom.
