Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Should Nintendo go more the Sony route in making more single player and even less online multiplayer?

Online communication is fairly limited in Nintendo's online games. The issues that are happening is not people seducing kids over the internet but people meeting in tournaments which Nintendo has little to do with. I don't think it's reasonable that we can't have any multiplayer games because some people who like those games may go to tournaments with younger people who like that game and have inappropriate relationships with them.

Thread is very confusing. Not sure what you're really trying to discuss here, but it seems like you're overreacting to the recent bombshells in the FGC.

"Is fire emblem and xenoblade single player?" Yes to this and no to everything else. Nintendo games are already very restrictive with online interactions, and they don't make many multiplayer games to begin with.

Not sure why this thread was phrased with comparing Nintendo to Sony. Sony don't develop many multiplayer games for their system because it's already over-saturated with generic multiplayer titles. Predators are much more likely to use a PS4, which offers a lot more and easier online interactions, and has easier places to target like Fortnite.

Regardless, again, I'm not sure if there's any real aim to this thread.

Aren't most of their games Single player ? I feel like Nintendo go it balanced pretty well this gen with Mario Odyssey, Botw, Fire emblem etc on the single player side and Splatoon 2, Smash, MK8D on the multiplayer side.

"...so I met a girl through League of Legends ranked." (A PC game for people who aren't aware)

Glad I wasted ~15mins of my life here.

I was going to say most of their games are single-player and then whatever the hell happened in this topic happened. WTF

EDIT. You want kids and adults separated in online multiplayer? No offense OP but your avatar is of a little girl to me. So your message is confusing. That avatar gave me the impression you are a kid but if not.

Was trying to help.Sorry I wasted everyones time

I know you mean well, just try to have a more clear subject in the future. And don't worry about Nintendo's online services. They brand themselves to be family-friendly and safe, and they're very good with keeping to that.

Thanks , I think we could lock this thread now .

You can edit and clarify the OP if you'd like.  If you'd rather have it locked, I can do that.

Do you have proof of the age demographics on Switch and PS4?

Pocky Lover Boy!
