Forums - Gaming Discussion - All Confirmed PS5 & XSX Games So Far

I know Metal Hellsinger is confirmed for both consoles and Demon Turf is announced for Xbox Series X.

Yakuza 7 not coming to ps5 would be very disappointing for me.

4 ≈ One

Elder Scrolls 6, both consoles. Not exactly confirmed for any specific platform though its pretty much going to happen.

Makes me wonder why the developer announced a Series X version and not a PS5 version. Especially when the Yakuza series is synonymous with the PlayStation.

I feel like Everwild should be on the Xbox list. While it was announced before Xbox Series X was announced, and hasn't technically been confirmed for Series X yet, it seems to be releasing in 2021, and Microsoft isn't going to release a game on Xbox One but not Series X in 2021.

Same goes for Flight Simulator. While it hasn't technically been confirmed for Series X yet, MS did confirm that it will come to Xbox after it's 2020 PC release, and since MS isn't going to release it on Xbox One only in 2021, a Series X version is pretty much a sure thing.

But I understand if you don't want to add them until they are officially confirmed for Series X, which will surely be at the Xbox July show next month.

Yeah I'm only looking to add games confirmed for release on each platform. If it were just a forum list I might do otherwise, but since it's for the database I only want to add confirmed titles, just in case.

I was looking at Everwild today for example, and there's no mention of it for XSX... yet. I'll add it when it gets announced.

I didn't realise Deathloop hadn't officially been announced for XSX, so I'll take it off the list.

Cyberpunk 2077 has not been officially confirmed for PS5.

Nowakowski also reiterated that Sony hasn't said whether PS5 will support enhanced PS4 games (like Microsoft already has for Xbox Series X and Xbox One) so there's no official word for whether PS5 will be able to play an enhanced PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red has already confirmed that an update for Cyberpunk 2077 will allow Xbox One users to upgrade to an Xbox Series X enhanced version for free, but the same can't be said for PS4 and PS5 (for now).

"There's no official announcement coming from PlayStation so we really can't confirm or deny anything," Nowakowski said. "It's PlayStation that first needs to address these issues and then we're happy to make a comment, but we can't jump the gun ahead of them."

Another source.

I don't know the reason Sony has held back this announcement, but these are the facts so far. These quotes have been shared around a fair bit too, so I'm surprised you missed them.

Eh basically reads that next gen version Cyberpunk is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, but won't be right away at launch. It hasn't been confirmed whether the PS4 version is upgradable to next gen (like crossbuy) like current gen version > Series X. It should be left in.

Maybe that is a part of the reason for the delay.

I linked 2 sources if you need a better look. Bottom line is there's been no official announcement for PS5. That's the standard we've set. Stop adding confusion.

Confusion? Basically confirmed next gen version coming out. Game will be coming out on both consoles. The only confirmation is the upgradable part next gen of the current gen Xbox version.

What outlet reports that it isn't coming to PS5. None.

"In terms of Microsoft's console, like I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the cross-gen availability, meaning that you'll be able to play the game from the get-go on the next-gen," CD Projekt SVP of business development Michal Nowakowski said

It's officially confirmed for Xbox Series X. Not PS5. Are we done here?

We can go around in circles all you want he was talking about the upgradability of the Xbox version.

If we go by what is officially confirmed then its a Xbox One, PS4 and PC title. But then he confirms that next gen version is coming. The PS5/Xbox One Series X version (retail/online to buy) version won't be available at launch - at time of writing.

Edit: I'm done, can reply if you want. Not bothered. Rather not as its going way off rails.
