Damn Slant Magazine giving it 90 is pretty big. I mean i hate their scoring usually but i rarely see them give high score.

But tbh they have the worst taste in video gaming :

P4 Golden : 60
Animal Crossing NH : 70
FF7R : 100 for some reasons, deserved tho
Nioh 2 : 50
Doom eternal 70
Shenmue III : 90 ?
Zelda Breath of the Wild : 60 (idc what u think about that game but 60 i-)

GOTG

2 more 9s just got added one more perfect score and this will be back up to 95.

Perhaps they should. Still the score dropped from 4.5 to 4, 7500 reviews one week after release and 12500 reviews now.

So we can only imagine it would be less in reality if you cut the 4 thousand off who 5 stared it before release. I gotta wonder though if this isn't something Sony does preemtively cause who the hell would rate a game before release. Maybe a few dozen embeciles but thousands, idk man.

Don't think so, people were also able to give lower scores prior to launch and considering for how long it was for pre-order perhaps many done that before cancelling their pre-order.

BraLoD, is there ever any PS exclusives you've had issue with in recent years? Can you name any of the big ones that you failed to like?

Several, actually.

I never bought Knack, Killzone Shadowfall, The Order 1886, Gran Turismo Sport, Days Gone, Death Stranding... I dunno if I dislike them, because I simply didn't feel compeled enough to buy any of them.

Other games that I think I would like but still didn't buy were Infamous Second Son, Ratchet and Clank and Spider Man, because I have lots of other priorities.

I only buy games that truly interest me, but it's fine, you can doubt me as much as you like, don't worry.

You didn't play Knack and GTS, I'll cross you from my friend list.

Knack was a punch on my LoD dreams and GTS was a punch on my GT dreams. They should burn forever.

You can add Driveclub on that list too, but they killed it fast and made it easier for me.

Funny I haven't played driving games on PS4 up until now, actually.

You are missing on great games not playing so many of the 1st parties, if you lived nearby I would lend them to you.

Your list of disappointing PS 1st party exclusives is literally the list of PS first party exclusives I haven't played yet.

I started making an effort to catch up on 1st party games in summer 2018, and in the almost 2 years since, have played Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, and God Of War. Of those, only Uncharted 4 was disappointing to me, and that was due to my distaste for the gunplay, and combat in general, which I feel was a fairly big step back from the previous games.

- I didn't read the second sentence, just "several actually", then the list of games, and assumed you were answering Johnny's question about games you've played and had issues with.

Right on man.

Its ironic how some people call foul when being accused of bias for repeatedly trashing one of the biggest and highest rated playstation exclusive this year and pulls out the I'm entitled to my opinion card.

Yet same crowd suspects bias if you so happen to have a opinion liking most playstation exclusive games.

I for one find God of war to be a bit overrated but the difference is I don't repeatedly go to every God of war related discussion on the internet just to tell people my dislike for the game over and over again.

Probably some, but I have so many games I still didn't play with me already, even things like Vagrant Story and Metal Gear Solid V for example, games I REALLY want to play.

Damn I still didn't play Sekiro, I should really go play that game already, can't believe what looks to be the best game from last year still is in my to play list.

But where is the time for that =/

I have some games I have and didn't play yet, but my backlog of things I really want to play isn't big at the moment =p

Nah, I seen it the day before release when I was buying it for preload, it had between 4 and 5k ratings at 5 full stars.

And how many weren't 5 star?

Because if Sony do this type of thing it is quite possible that they will get sued.

God of war is a masterpiece and highly underrated, it's not the games fault, it's YOU that is the problem.

How is God of War 2018 underrated?
is the only videogame that actually beat a Rockstar game nominated for GOTY at Spike VGA and Now VGX.

-2004 GTA San Andreas Won

- 2008 GTA IV Won

- 2010 RDR Won

- 2013 GTA V Won (yeah, the same year when TLOU released)

- 2018 GOW beating RDR2, a game highly praised but imo lower quality than RDR, and still GOW achieved more GOTY awards.

As for TLOU part II the hate campaign is really shameless, never seen such campaign against a videogame before, the point is clear when you see a lot of non regulars into the Sony forum especially in this thread.

I understand plenty didn’t like it but mainly because they put too much emotion on it, at the end is just a video game nothing else.
