  • December 2008- Witcher 1 300k shipped (physical version only, digital sales not specified)
  • August 2011- Witcher 2 940k sold
  • May 2012- Witcher 2 1.7m sold
  • February 2013- Witcher 1 + 2 combined sales hit 5m
  • March 2014- Witcher 1 + 2 combined sales hit 7m
  • September 2014- Witcher 1 + 2 combined sales hit 8m
  • May 2015- Witcher 3 sells 4m in the first 2 weeks
  • June 2015- Witcher 3 sells 6m in the first 6 weeks
  • March 2016- Witcher 3 sales hit 10m
  • December 2017- Witcher series sales hit 33m
  • June 2019- Witcher series sales hit 40m
  • December 2019- Witcher 3 sales hit 28m
  • May 2020- Witcher series sales hit 50m

GoG had a lot of 85% off for the entire series sales. That meant getting all three games for $15 combined. I'm sure similar sales were put on Steam/Epic.

Agreed. Hoping to see the series hit 100m eventually sometime after Witcher 4 releases. With the Netflix show boosting the popularity of the games, Witcher 4 should be able to top Witcher 3's sales I would imagine. 

Great sales for a great franchise. The Witcher Netflix series caused a huge boost in sales for the games and books.
