Solid sale all around. It might be time to finally play Dragon Quest XI.

I'm tempted to buy Okami HD as well. Such an underrated gem! Dragons Crown Pro interests me as well, I didn't know it was developed by Atlus.

Its published by Atlus.

Vanillaware is the developer. They also did Muramasa: Then Demons Blade, Odins Sphere, and recently 13 Sentinels: Aegis just to name a few.

Probably won't see Yakuza 0 for that low often, and won't go much lower. But I think it's one of those games where you'll find yourself thinking you'd pay more for it, if you already knew what you were in for.

I take it you haven't played Kiwami yet? Depending on which you play first, you'll experience some key parts of each's story differently. But I'd recommend starting with 0.

And yeah, knowing the story connections between Zestiria and Berserria is one of the reasons I haven't gotten around to picking up Berseria yet. I want to play both, in spite of the negative things I heard of Zestiria.

I've said this multiple times in many threads over the... months (Since I only played it last year), but I don't get the hate for Zestiria, I mean sure it definitely has its downsides, but it's a solid game and I really enjoyed the story, characters and music, the only thing I'd change would be the god awful camera, I don't normally complain about cameras in games but dear fucking lord it did actually get me killed a few times because I couldn't see what I was doing, lol.

The Combat. Since you have to have a "human" to use a "spirit" your party never really changed. It was two humans, and two spirits. The only reason to change the spirits (for the most part) was the element. The only spirit that stood out to me was the water one. Because of the bow.

Oh and the end game. Like post boss end game.

  • Deadliest mass shooting by an individual in US history (10/01/2017)
  • Deadliest high school shooting in US history (02/14/2018)
  • Deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (10/27/2018)
  • Political assassination attempt of TWO former presidents(and 10+ other people)  (10/23/2018 - and beyond)

The combat itself was pretty solid, and I only ever played as one person anyway, rotating spirits out as needed. If I'm being honest I'm not a fan of bigger parties anyway since I usually just find a few people I like and stick with them, lol :P

Also yeah, the water bow was great for long range damage, although I really enjoyed fire and earth for getting up close and tanky too

So many great games that I want, but I've to reduce my backlog :(

My exact thoughts... hope I stick to it this time.

Just bought the new Ace Combat and i might buy ff7,valkyria chronicles4,tales of berseria, dragon quest 11 and the banner saga 3 next week.
I know i got a huge backlog but i never buy next gen consoles in their first year so i can take that time to catch up.

I also need to stop going back to Monster hunter world and i'm putting so much time in Nioh 2 just grinding gear.

I'm tempted to get Digimon Hacker's Memory.

For those who played it, If I enjoyed the hell out of Cyber Sleuth, is Hacker's Memory worth buying for 12 bucks? How does it compare to Cyber Sleuth in terms of overall content? Is the story interesting?

Edit: No sale for Danganronpa V3 really sucks. What's up with Spike Chunsoft and this game? The cheaper I've seen it is 39'99...

Damn, I was hoping to see Steins Gate Elite. Alas, I might finally pick up The Last Remnant.

Steins Gate Elite is available in the EU store for €24.

That said, the differences in pricing between EU and US store are more and more disappearing, probably on purpose, since many people will have multiple accounts by now. Still, very nice sale. I'll be looking at Last Remnant as well and maybe some other offers like Valkyria Chronicles 4 and FF8 or 9 perhaps.

It's been three years since I played Cyber Sleuth, so my memory is a bit rusty on the matter. But I'll try to answer your question.

It's similar to Pokémon in the sense that you use creatures to battle in turn based combats. You "capture" these creatures, evolve then, unevolve them if you wish, some can even fuse together...

But the overall feeling of the game and how everything works is very different from Pokemon. For example, most Digimon have evolution branches. That means that there are certain conditions that will make it evolve into one species or another completely different. Another example is that, while you are limited to a certain number of Digimon in your party, is heavily encouraged to have as many trained Digimons as you can. The game makes relatively comfortable and easy to do this, unlike Pokémon where unless you want to spend a crap ton of time grinding, you will most likely stick to a set team of 6 for the main adventure.

The story is more mature and complex than any Pokémon game can hope to be and it's a much more important aspect of the game itself. Also, since Digimon can talk and have personalities, there are actual Digimon characters.

The game does not feature an open map, but different areas separated from each other similar to Persona games. There are side missions to complete scatered around these areas.

These are some examples of how different Pokemon and Digimon are. If you like Pokémon, I think you are gonna love this, because while similar, it's different mostly in a good way.

Yep, spotted it and it's currently in my cart.

That might be true for sales but we are still pqying way more for full priced games. Bastards they are, the biggest market and Sony lets us get ripped off.
